Una miscela unica tra musica contemporanea, rock progressivo, jazz d’avanguardia e musica spontanea. John Greaves, Fred Frith, Chris Cutler e Tim Hodgkinson si ritrovano assieme decenni dopo per quella che non può essere una reunion, perché la ricerca instancabile e mai interrotta dei quattro leggendari musicisti non guarda al passato. Ancora OGGIGIORNO questi signori propongono vere idee musicali innovative e quindi VERAMENTE PROG!!!!!!!!! AVANGUARDIA VERA e MUSICA sempre AFFASCINANTE ORIGINALE COINVOLGENTE che se ne FOTTE delle MODE e di quelle idee TRENDY andando AVANTI per la LORO strada di ricerca di sonorità sempre più ricercate insolite spiazzanti geniali sperimentali e creative ispirate come poche!!!!!!! Fred FRITH, John GREAVES, Chris CUTLER e Tim HODGKINSON sono come quei cavalieri TEMPLARI che andavano alla ricerca del SACRO GRAAL ebbene anche loro sono sempre in cammino attraverso molte idee musicali sempre più ricercate differenti cercandone sempre altre differenti da quelle precedenti e così via e quindi questi cavalieri del suono sono sempre alla ricerca di questo IPOTETICO GRAAL musicale che rappresenterebbe la musica PERFETTA che probabilmente NON raggiungeranno MAI e che credo Non ESISTA, ma nessuno dico NESSUNO può disconoscere a loro, l'intento di proseguire con l'idea di essere AVANTI e NON guardarsi troppo indietro non specchiandosi troppo ad ammirare quello che hanno fatto in precedenza ma anzi quello che hanno composto prima fa loro da sprone a creare sempre qualcosa di originale diverso insolito ed il risultato è sempre una forma di ARTE musicale che ha sempre la sua indubbia validità!!!!!! Con loro la parola REVIVAL NOSTALGICO NON ESISTE!!!!!!! Le loro IDEE musicali saranno SEMPRE sinonimo di AVANGUARDIA!!!!!!! E anche sinonimo di BUONA OTTIMA MUSICA senz'altro!!!!!!!! Ospite con loro in questo concerto, la bravissima ANNIE BARBAZZA che credo sia Inglese come loro ma dal cognome tradisce chiare origini ITALIANE!!!!!

I wish they’d do something like this in the states, it I know they never will because there’s just not enough demand for music like this over here for it to be worth it.
Unfortunately they never even played the states in the history.

She sings and plays guitar with the North Sea Radio Orchestra, with John Greaves. They cover a lot of Robert Wyatt songs.
If your eyes were closed you would almost think it was a young Dagmar singing, good substitute. Dagmar was last heard about 7 years ago performing with Slapp Happy again.
