I'm a gringa from NJ, but live in Miami area- so English is not everyone 1st language.. I can Spanglish' my way through a 13-hr shift ICU, and I can understand,but I can't speak it so well. I took 6 yrs of French -if I knew I was moving here from Cali ,I prob would've taken spanish. But I can definitely tell dif from the Brazilian dialect , Portuguese, Venezuelans, Cubans,Dom Rep,Mexico and they all sound a little bit diff,& speak a lil different. Anyway- back to the scents!!**-> IM Embarrassed to say that I have an oil, from the 80s, that's still out there, & I used to wear as a kid. it's still around and I get more compliments when I wear that than any other high-end perfume or mist. It's light enough that I used to wear it to work in the ICU ,my teens dab it on when they go to school-it just works with our body chemistry.( If it doesn't work it smells like play-doh.) But I can layer anything on it and I smell delicious. I'm embarrassed to tell you it's like $12.00 😅. it doesn't jive,w/everyone- but people have stopped me in the airport the grocery store, even the doctor's office, it's one of those subtle wiffs, like aft you walk by,they'll go ,"oh you smell so good!". it's not overpowering. It's oil so you can mix it with anything ,it makes everything last longer😂😂. They stopped making the lotion so I just get some plain unscented whatever lotion put a few drops in and voila
See, I didn't like either of the Phlur sprays because Moonstone was too lemony and the saffron note Amber Haze was just NOT pleasant to me. I was so sad! I was really excited to try them.

I’ve spent so much money this last month, this week particularly on body sprays. I literally just got in Sol de Janeiro’s Summer é Amor. Yesterday, I got in several backs ups of the Bath & Bodyworks Everyday Luxury collection and a backup of Phlur’s Vanilla Skin. I also went in to Bath & Bodyworks to purchase more of the SDJ dupe collection. I love Pink Paradise, it’s my favorite from the collection. It’s a fantastic 68’ dupe. Vacation Vibe is nice too and a great 62’ dupe. I forgot the yellow one’s name but it’s definitely a dupe for Rio Radiance. The body butters and shimmer oils are amazing.

I just ordered the Carioca Crush today! So excited to try it! That was the one that spoke to me the most with scent notes! But 71 is still my favorite but also love the 59 that came out for the Spring!

Here in Australia the Sol de J scents are available at Mecca. Last summer I bought the 4 pack of miniatures including no 62. I love them. I just went in store a couple of days ago and I liked Biossance so I'll get that too. I have bought the Bath and Bodyworks scents you recommended and I have my favourites now mainly body cream and lotions. My husband has allergies to perfume. It makes him cough and wheeze and his eyes water. WhenI'm in the car with him I don't wear them but I can wear body sprays. He particularly likes Sol de J 62. He said I smell like a biscuit! So that's not too bad! I love your perfume reviews. Keep them up. xxx

Hi Leah. YES I get pineapple in the st barts fragrance as well! And I love it! I miss coco cabana and I love 71 by SDJ. Never impressed by their limited editions. Remember the Anita scent? I was not a fan…nor of the rio radiance
BBW luxury line is my favorite FFM recently! I just grabbed their 3 new summer scents (supposed to be similar to Sol de janerio). I got the st barts, which I love!!! Got the phlur vanilla. Need to go smell the new Sol de janerio! I still need to grab the 59....I think it's 59 lol. Newest purple one.

Smelled all the sdj in store today! the green one was nice but I felt it was so light and had no staying power. The red was good I almost got that but I felt it was weirdly similar to the sea & sol one I have from a few years ago? Idk. I ended up getting the pink one bc it was the most different and I loved the smell on my skin, felt almost like a vanilla gardenia mix without being too floral!
I agree with being underwhelmed by the new Sol de Janeiro. I received mine yesterday and did some spray tests. I put them to the side to see if maybe my opinion changes in a few days. I usually wait on your review because we enjoy the same scent profiles but I did not want to miss the summer drop like I did last year.
I agree with you. The new Sol de Janeiro scents aren’t that “wowing”! I wanted to love them so much and I splurged and bought all three but I am underwhelmed.
Love that body mists are having their moment. I’ve always been a fan of them. Nowadays, I love them to layer with my perfumes.

Hi Leah, l have been loving the body Mist from Sephora, l got spoiled this past weekend because of Mother's day, l got paid over 300.00 at Sephora, and then my children and grandkids spent alot at Sephora too for me on Sunday, l am loving their skincare and hair products, but l am loving the body mists, and some of their perfumes, hugsssss ❤❤❤

39 and 71 are the best!! Tom Ford body sprays have been around for years though
They just have just released some new scents :) just thought I would share
The Tom Ford ones are body sprays reminiscent of men's body spray and they have some them for years. I would always see them at the Cosmetic Company Store. You should look for TF, Killian, Jo Malone fragrances there. Anything that is an Estee Lauder brand is there but those are the big ones for me.

I'm so happy that Body Mists are becoming all the rage, because I've Always been a Bath & Bodyworks body mist girl, because the scents are light and fruity, as opposed to a perfume, which I prefer wearing going out at night. I'm (still) obsessed with last year's Sol de Janeiro line - #68 Beija Flor, #40 Bom Dia, and #59 Delicia! Recently my new obsession is the Fleur Vanilla Skin - I love the vanilla with a hint of spice smell! I wasn't a fan of the original Bum Bum, and the others smell too much like sunscreen for me to enjoy. Thank you for this fun and colorful video!

62 Sol de janeiro is the best. How do you apply the Saie liquid blushes? Some people say it can look patchy sometimes.
I apply with a brush and never experience any patchiness!

Carolina Herrera has a body mist of GG Blush I use the roller on my pulse points and the mist all over and it lasts all day and smells amazing ❤❤❤

I personally love getting perfume oils, and pairing them with body mists. It’s so much more cost efficient and I just find that I don’t use actual perfumes as much as body mists. I like to go in with a perfume oil after a shower and then put a lotion on top of that so my skin faintly smells like the perfume oil and pair it with a complimentary body mist. I work 12 hours in a warehouse and I still smell myself after !! Definitely more cost friendly for people who want to smell good on a budget !!
I purchased from phlur vanilla skin which smells like a lighter version of initio Absolute Aphodisiac, I ordered also mango mood but sent it back as it reminded me of air freshener, from Sol de Janeiro I have, 68, 59 and radiance, I was wanting the nest vanilla oil but my skin is rather sensitive, I have Tom Ford soleil blanch body spray, I’ve not seen a body mist from them

That is interesting…I was so excited for this one but it has an odd smell on my skin and stuck around for hours…I got a headache from it and had to shower to get rid of the scent. I was so disappointed because I love coconut, peach and frangipani! I tried it a few times because I wanted to love it but ended up returning it

Just got my Phlur Vanilla Skin in the small size from the Sephora site. Not sure it is a love for me. The cashmere or something isn't mixing on me. I will try it on a rainy day or in the Fall. I get why people call it a 'cozy' scent. I prefer my Kayali Vanilla 28. Maybe I will layer the two.
I am going body mist crazy. I just got all those new BBW dupes (love them) and I also got the Ouai St Barts and I also love it. My fragrance collection is a little out of control 😂.

Summer E Amore reminds me of a super soft dupe of Good Girl. I really like it on skin. I total agree with the red one! It reminds me of God is a Women by Ariana Grande - both are a love at first spray but have a weird dry down on my skin.

On the TF website it’s referred to as “all over body spray” in different scents such as Lost Cherry, Tobacco Vanille, Oud Wood, Rose Prick, Ombré Leather, Soleil Blanc, Bitter Peach and many others as well 😂
I have tried some of the all over body sprays and for summer I would definitely recommend Bitter Peach, Rose Prick, and Soleil Blanc 🤌
Coco cabana smells like their 71 to me. Like buttered popcorn lol. I went and smelled the new sol de janerio ones today and they all smell beautiful 💜

I agree that having body mists is incredible, but the higher the hype, the higher the price 😢 I'm sorry, I love TF... but I don't think I (ME) would pay $50 for a body mist. I don’t mind spending money on fragrances provided I use them up before they go off. That said, the only 2 fragrances for me that warrant a higher price tag (>$100) are Killian’s Apple Brandy on the Rocks, Ateiler Paris (fav is Pacific Lime), and Kayali Yum. Most others, I wouldn’t repurchase. I’ve panned one of 2 fragrances and would like to use up 2 spray mists. Gotta keep them moving. 😁

Tom ford has done body mist before, I actually have one! But I think it was close to 100 ish, but I got it on a good sale at Nordstrom when I got mine

I love all the SDJ scents! If you love Tropical 🏝️ beachy, fruity scents 🤩🤩 I’m loving 🥰 these 🍹🏝️🌺 I say try it! I’m gonna mix! I got so many compliments! I’m kinda over the gourmand for now! I don’t love the purple one, nothing special it’s a more perfume! Ouai is BOMB 💣 been getting so many compliments 🥰 I’m a summer So.. Cali beach 🏖️ bum so I’m down with all these! I just picked up AEO Island girl so good! Obviously these are not gonna be as long lasting or strong as perfumes. I’m pretty much over BBW! So I think you will find other perfumes in your collection to use these mists with. I love throwing these on during hot summer months and after showering at nigh! It’s all about personal preference, I don’t like to smell like deep fragrances in the summer 🌺 EB Miami nectar 🌺 is soooo good! Also Phlur Dragon fruit.. I’m enjoying it too! Quai is definitely not your average, definitely try gals 🫶🏼

Quai idk if I messed that up lol but I got a deluxe hair set which was a shampoo n conditioner and leave in conditioner and omg it was so strong and not yummy and I got a migraine 😮😮 I can’t use that anymore lol
I got the EDP of Boardwalk Delight hoping it was somehow different than the travel size but it isn’t. The longevity is absolutely the worst of any fragrance I’ve ever tried. I like it enough to try layering it with the body mist but I hate that I have to try that after spending on what should be the stronger form.
