This exercise where you massage the peroneous muscle cured my knee pain. Previous to doing this exercise only a few times I could not walk down the stairs straight on. I had to walk down sideways. I had been to an orthopod who suggested I get a brace for arthritis and valgus deformity (not noticeable to the naked eye) I tried to get it through my insurance but you know how that is, weeks of dealing with the brace company and insurance..... Meantime I was doing conventional stretches and these exercises with the lacross ball and I am pain free and voila! walk down the stairs with absolutely not pain not even discomfort. I was CURED. I did take some Wobenzyme recommended by Ark Wellness Center, Josh Gothelf P.A. for about a month or two. That was about a year ago. Thank you, G-d and Josh. I'm good to go.

I have a valgus knee as a result of post-truamatic arthritis. This was very helpful. I have never heard that the ankle can play a part in this issue until watching your video and after simply doing the first ankle exercise you showed; I feel stimulation in my knee.
    Great stuff!
I am very active and need more videos like this. Send more and keep up the great work for the community.

Can some knee valgus be cause by quad dominance. I actually find it’s the tfl outer an outer thigh that seems short. The inner thigh does get tight but it seems longer if that makes sense.

Hi starseeded...It definitely contributes to it. Traditionally the vastus lateralis helps to decelerate the knee from moving inward when the hips are unstable. We'd want to look at how your hips moved during hinging (squats, lunges, etc) movements to see which muscles are compensating.

Hi Victor! Welcome from MN, USA. Thank you for reaching out. This is an approach to help reduce a common series of distortions stemming from the immobility of the ankle and a lack of strength from the foot. There are other issues involving the hips and lumbar spine that can also contribute to valgus. These issues are covered in in our series as well. If you'd like to schedule a virtual movement screen, to complete a thorough evaluation, reach out to us at Admin@fluidhealthandfitness.com!

Great video. Can this possibly be done on a daily basis? My feet have actually taken the blunt of the knock knees. Have been to several PT's, not one has been helpful as you guys. Where are you located? I need someone like you guys to help me get out of pain and restore my life.

@@FluidHealthandFitness I would love to schedule a virtual appointment, my problem is that I feel I need to be seen in person. Besides having knock knee, I have acquired a flat foot for being like this. I have PTTD in both feet, would this protocol you have for knee valgus help strengthening the Tibilias Posterior and Anterior. I had been put in orthotics for over six years which totally was the wrong thing to do, as my muscles atrophied both in the lower legs and feet. I would love to work with someone, would you happen to know someone in the Boston area who specializes in getting people better. I don't want a PT who gives cookie cutter exercises and does not recommend orthotics. I need overall strength, core, spine, SI and hips literally down to the feet. I think you guys are just so professional and knowledgeable. I may schedule a one time so I can ask questions, but would prefer seeing someone in person. Thank you.

Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
Just so you know, we do tailor a specific exercise and mobility plan specifically to you by having you complete a virtual movement assessment with one of our biomechanics experts. We believe treatment needs to move from merely suppressing symptoms to a disease-modifying strategy aimed at both preventing maladaptive plasticity and reducing intrinsic risk. You see, what most people are unaware of, is that they have pre-established movement distortions that create the potential for, or are the cause of, the majority of injury cycles they're experiencing. That's why we offer this complimentary movement screen to tease out the distortions you may possess, so we can identify the reason you may be experiencing instability or why you may experience chronic reoccurring injuries. We use this information to create a custom plan for you. Even virtually we see success based on the scrutiny we employ..
If you wanted to get started we would need you to complete two steps.
First, you'll need to complete a discovery call where we'll help set you up on our virtual platform. This is where we'll complete your movement screen and provide your custom mobility plan. At the end of the call we'll schedule your movement screen.
If you want to do a discovery call to see if it would be a good fit, you can reach out here - meetings.hubspot.com/rmaxwell/15-minute-discovery-call-group
