Continue in english, I am from Bangladesh. Suggesting your channel to burmese. As you know its a good place for learning elec side. Onboard we only care about mechanical side so elec side is a blur to us. Respect. ❤️
Thank you for the valuable feedback...all my videos having a separate english version. Please go to english playlist in my chanel..be in touch, Ill upload more interesting videos soon.😍
Hi Thank you for the videos, some quick questions, 1. How the excitation differs for Essential Diesel generator Vs the Emergency Diesel Generator? 2. Where is the AVR located for the Emergency Diesel generator - In the EDG enclosure? In the Emergency Switchboard? or in the Control panel?
1. The construction and operation of an emergency generator on ship is similar to that of a main generator. Excitation supplies, either static or rotary, will usually be governed by an automatic voltage regulator. In some cases where a static compounded exciter provides a reasonably constant generator voltage, the A VR may be omitted. In most case you can find a permanent magnet mounted on rotor to enable field flashing.
In this particular example the Vref is fixed, this basic arrangement of a comparator is used for exam purpose and better understanding. Actual comparators are bit complex with few more electronic devices and mostly fixed with variable resistor to change the Vref / SET value.
Yes, you can consider functional avr is simillar to static avr, in modetn days functional system is used ass an adddon to the error operated system in order to get better and faster response. and the
Scr is recieving AC , two scr are provided to control positive half and negetive half separately. Anyway Ill do a separate video related to scr operation soon.
Well explained and displayed all components with assembly diagrams
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your educational videos
Thanks a lot sir. Very detailed and clear explanation..
So nice of you
You are a great teacher thank you

Nice explanation thank you
Good explanation !
Can you please explain how rapid voltage built up system works or suggest any reference book or site which explains the same.
Useful and informative video. Hope you do a video on droop setting as well. Thank you.
Will do soon
Super information..... But one... Confuse me..... Thats AVR.. rectifire. Out put produce DC....... But DG.. How balance AC.. Volt....
Thank you so much 🎉
You’re welcome 😊
Any video for AVR operating in MVar control?
I will upload soon
please do explan SVR and DVR
Sir.Does the Vref is fix because of the Zener diode value is fix?

Sir, is functional avr same as static avr

Please stay tuned Ill do static AVR soon....
Sir scr input Is DC.. HOW scr controlling ouput

ट्रान्स्लेट in hindi please
Im really sorry, I am from Sri Lanka so I am not fluent in Hindi...
