- Hi everyone! I know this gift guide is coming very late in the season, but this is the first chance I've had to record a video. These gift ideas would also be great for birthdays or swaps. In this video I give you nearly 20 ideas for sheep-themed gifts. I know that a lot of knitters love sheep and would enjoy incorporating that sheep theme in other areas of life besides knitting. Hope you enjoy my ideas!

Hi Sally -- so nice to hear from you. I'm doing as many videos as I can. Thank you for your kind comment. 💟
I'm in a group that meets monthly. Supposed to be knit/crochet, but we have a couple who just can't get the hang of it so they bring their adult color books. Our Christmas meeting this month had a $10 limit on gifts and had to be craft themed. I found an ArtBin Mini Sidekick storage bin with handle (less than $10 on sale). No matter what craft, portable storage is always appreciated!
Hello! That's a great idea for a crafty gift. Thank you for sharing. 💟
Awww doctor Kelly! I’ve missed you 🤗

Hi Ms Kelly.
I bought myself a skein of silk and a skein of cashmere for myself for Christmas.
The wooly sheep are gorgeous. I like the sheep containers. A much less expensive option. Thank you for sharing these ideas. Last year I went with your idea of a kaleidoscope (for deciding if colors go together) to give to my yarn friends. It was a big hit.
Hi Chris -- so nice to hear from you. Ooh the cashmere and silk yarn sounds glorious -- enjoy it! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. :)

So happy to see a new video from you. I hope to see lots more in the coming months but really wish you would stick with knitting, crochet, and yarn related topics. Nobody does them as well as you.
Hi Marsha -- thanks for your comment. I do enjoy changing things up once in a while, but I always label my non-knitting videos as "Ancillary" so people who aren't interested will know and can choose to skip them. :)
It's good to see a podcast from you. I have been checking every couple of weeks to see if you have posted a new one.
I haven't been doing sheepish things, except for buying yarn... This year I treated myself to a couple of skeins of Anzula Nebula fingering weight yearn with sparkle. It is SO pretty, now I have to decide what I will make... Also I have given myself a subscription to Knit Crate and have really liked what I have received so far. I'm keeping the knitting needles hot!!
Hello -- so nice to hear from you. The yarn and subscription sound fabulous. Enjoy! Thank you for your kind support. 💟
Great ideas as always! Very clever designs and you offer wonderful ways to use them. Merry Christmas and a very happy 2020!

Hi Gayle -- thank you so much. 💟
Hi Kristine, I have missed yours video so glad to have you back! I look forward to your planner video. I have been planning digitally for almost 2 years now, there are some beautiful digital planners out there, have you ever looked into these?
Merry Christmas! I'm giving cake cozies as gifts to knitters and crocheters.
Hi Joyce -- ooh those sound like awesome gifts. Merry Christmas to you, too! 💟
Merry Christmas and Happy Mew Year!!! LOL. I like the sheep container, super great for knitting notions. You are right about the scissors, need them in every progress bag. My knitters gift this season has been project bags. There are so many lovely makers on Etsy and it is great to support small businesses.
Hello! Project bags are always wonderful gifts, and I love supporting Etsy sellers, too. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, too! 💟
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2020! I always enjoy your podcasts. I want all the sheep items you showed us! actually, my craft room has a lot of sheep items, art work, and some llamas and a goat! take care!
Hi Kathleen -- thank you. Yes, I was tempted to include a few llama and alpaca items but had to limit myself, lol! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, too! 💟
Kristine, these are really cool ideas. Have missed seeing you, glad you could find some time to make this podcast. For Christmas I treated myself to a Circular Sock Machine by Erlbacher Gearhart. Just received it 2 days ago and will set it up this afternoon. Right now I'm out in my studio watching podcasts and wrapping Christmas gifts. Looks like later I'll be shopping Amazon for some of these great sheep items too. LOL. Merry Christmas! Many wishes for a Happy 2020.
Hi Stephanie -- what a fabulous gift to yourself! You will have so much fun with it. Thanks for your sweet comment, and Merry Christmas to you, too! 💟
I bought myself a set of large clover crochet hooks and would love another set of interchangeable knitting needles
Hi Laura -- that sounds like a fabulous gift, and hope you get your wish. 💟

The magnetic sheep would be good for magnetic stitch markers, cable needles etc. Missed you. Have a Happy Holiday.
Hi Dawn -- always great to hear from you. I love this idea! I tried it out, and the only thing is that heavier notions slide right to the bottom. Small and lightweight stitch markers are fine, but my tapestry needles dropped to the bottom of the magnetic sheep. They were still attached, though, so that may not be terrible. Thanks for sharing this idea. Happy Holidays to you, too! 💟
Please do a video about what the rules are for yarn companies in labeling the weight of their skein. I have found many brands whose skeins weigh less then the label and I even fell short by 2 yards in a project when I should not have had the yarn manufacturer actually provided the amount of yarn by weight that they said. Does the weight include the label? Who patrols the manufactures and what can we as consumers do when we consistently find a brand that falls short in the designated label weight. I stopped buying from one brand but I’m seeing many manufacturers skimming the yardage/weight of their yarn. It saves them money and cheats us as consumers. I ‘d love to see you do a brand weight and measure to see how prevalent this issue is.
Hello! Thanks for the suggestion -- I will have to put that on my list. It might be an interesting experiment. :)
I watched your wonderful video a few days ago and was delighted today when I received a knitting tote bag from a friend. It is from Teamoy.com and is called yarn tote bag sheep. It has an overall print with blue background, white sheep bodies and blue sheep heads, there are several open pockets inside and a zippered pocket outside.
Hola Christine, been looking for you and yes your x-mas edition which leaves me wondering how you come up with those gift ideas. Felices pascuas...ic
Hello Chiquita -- thank you so much. It's always nice to hear from you. 💟
😍💖💖 Miss you
Hi Jeni -- always great to hear from you. Thanks for watching! 💟
Thanks Kristine. Where did you get the top you are wearing? Since I broke ONE finger (Left ring finger - I am right handed) on December 9th, 2019 and now my left hand and arm are wrapped from just below my elbow to the tips of 3 outside fingers I really can't do cooking or crafting of any kind. Typing is hard too. I wish you and yours a very Happy & Merry Christmas.
I see that you put the information about the top in the description box.
Are you doing any more of these videos? I just found you but notice how long it has been since your last video.
Yes -- I've got several videos planned. Just been having a lot of life events happening. Thanks for watching!
Thanks & Happy New Year! I always enjoy your informative videos!
One note: I am making an effort to NOT buy any more items made of plastic and synthetic fabrics. Plastic and micro fibers are found in every corner of our globe, including Antarctica and ALL fish. We ingest them in the air we breathe, and in the food we eat - harming us and wildlife.
Single use plastic is no longer being exported to China and Malaysia - they have run out of room - and still we continue to manufacture and use it. It ALL is still on our planet from the first to the last.
Ok! Sorry! I’m done!
PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO !!!
Hey Kristine! I’ve missed you... hoping you’re ok.
Hi!!!
Hi Pamela --- nice to hear from you. 💟
Sorry, too much plastic...
Hi! Merry Christmas! I’m so happy to hear that you will be recording more in the future. I’m looking forward to it. Have a great day!
