    As a kid dad had this I think it was the same year . Same gray exterior but the fusion part of the roof was white and had white leather interior . I drove like a boat , it was so smooth and heavy . Had 80’s Cadillacs all the cars will built like tanks heavy and just felt soon smooth !

      One day I want a '75 LeSabre convertible. My grandfather (Dad's side) had a two-door Custom that he bought new in 1975 and had for a little over 20 years. It was a very nice car, but I would only buy the convertible now. I wish they got the convertible then...it would have really been cool to have my grandparents driving around the roof down.

      A friend of mine had an 85 collectors series Buick LeSabre and it had the same 307 4V carb. He also got over 300k miles on it and one tranny rebuild at like 165k. He babied it though never floored it and did proper maintenance

    Bill, omg the temptation! Love this Riv. All except for that odd red pinstripe. Had several tornados in my high school days...but always loved this vehicle. But, 2 cars from you in 10 days is my limit. At least for now. Good thing I didn't know you had this one before the bill blass. I might need rehab if I don't stop watching your channel every night! One question though... how do I find out about what cars you are going to put on bring a trailer before you post them on there? Yes this is Scott 🤪

      I like the Eldorado, but like the Riviera most of these. I never warmed up to the Toronado version. As far as GM's go, Buicks are really the only cars that interest me (even though I can admire many others), so take from that what you will.

    I had a '79 as a daily car for quite some time...red with a white roof and red interior. A pretty car, and the look of these Rivieras has aged really well. It had the 350 V8.
    It's a shame the 3.8 turbo cars are so uncommon.

      @jake real
      The 70's and 80's luxury US cars are still relatively cheap on the used market. Personally, I think they took a step down in build quality and all things being equal they are probably in the junkyard these days for the most part
      I used own a 83 Toronado that I bought in 1987 for $7500 with 38K miles
      Power antenna failure, transmission rebuild, windshield wipers shorted out, CV axles, new shocks, new struts for the trunk lid...The 307 V8 was solid. I traded it in at 78K miles and the headliner was failing then

    • @jakereal3604
      @jakereal3604 Рік тому

      I wasn’t really speaking to the build quality of these cars. Just the over all look and presentation. I own a 67 Thunderbird and 70 Mark lll and both are truly well built and have a vault like solidity to them! Later 70s, 80s, etc cars can’t compare naturally

    • @turnne
      @turnne Рік тому
