Hello, I'm from New Zealand. The last chocolate you ate (hundreds and thousands) was made based on our famous biscuit called "one hundreds and thousands" the picture of the biscuit is on the front cover and the biscuit is made by our brand "Griffins" Whittakers and Griffins got together and made that "limited edition" chocolate. Also the melted K bars are suppose to solid as rock. A toffee that gets stuck in your teeth and takes ages to chew but it is so worth the journey! You've got to commit to it and usually break it before you eat it (need your muscles to break it) If you like Peanut butter, you really need to try our Whittakers Peanut butter flavour! It will literally change your life! Really enjoying your NZ taste tests!
When I was young those spaceman candy sticks used to have one of the ends dipped in red food coloring so they looked more like a cigarette. Even the older style box they used to come in was more cigarette packet like in the way it opened. After complaints from an anti-smoking group they removed the red tip and the cigarette style box. I'm told in some poorer countries overseas with no real child protection laws they are still sold in cigarette style boxes with a red tip.
Those space man candy sticks look like the candy cigarettes we had here in the US when I was a kid. Popping candy inside of chocolate is strange but I have to try that sometime.
FunFoods Seems to be the latest trend in chocolates putting popping candy inside I like popping candy and chocolate to be a seperate things I don't want my chocolate bars attacking me. We use to have chocolate cigarettes when I ws a kid they were wrapped in paper and even came in a cigarette like box LOL so wrong they were banned eventually, reading through the comments it seems that most countries had some form of candy cigarettes.

Nicola Mortin Both Australia and New Zealand have a lot of family sized chocoalte blocks (which are suppose to be shared) : ) The Whittakers chocoalte is really good worth trying.

Popping in chocolate is always fun. The Eta potato chips are nice. Good grief! Last time I had a can that size it had Woodstock written on it. Looks delicious. The 100's and 1,000's choccie was winner with a family. Rainbow wants it for herself. Awesome taste test as usual, Tam.

When I was a kid we had those spaceman sticks but they were called cigarettes, and one end of the stick would be dyed red to look like it was smoldering. Yup. Fake cigarette candy for kids.
I remember going down to the dairy to get the Whittakers toffees - we always called them K Bars. When I was little cause they didn't cost a lot of money. They took ages to eat too and always lasted forever. They obviously didn't make the journey to Australia well.
They melted! Just like my Vegemite chocolate! There must be a sabotage heat-wave around in the Pacific region, aiming to confuse Taste Testing UA-camrs ;-) great video (as always Tam), thumbs up! P.S. We had chocolate cigarettes, and labeled AS SUCH, here in Germany, until very recently. I loved them as a child! But despite them, I never smoked. We even had chocolate cigarettes where there was cigarette paper rolled around a stick of chocolate instead of tobacco. You had to peel the paper away to get at the chocolate. I remember the chocolate being very good, like German or Swiss chocolate...

New Zealand as so many different candies and treats that we don't have in Australia, good stuff. As you like white chocolate you would probably like the L&P chocolate but the L&P soda is a must try.
We have Munchos in the USA but the are plain flavored and made with potatoes. They look a bit different too but are light and fluffy like yours. I love them still.
Yeah K Bars are pretty popular in NZ we usually buy them from dairies for like 70 cents, and they last forever cause we eat them more like a lollipop instead of biting them :) 👍🏼
I'm so excited because in a month whittakers are putting out a new chocolate, being jelly tip like the ice cream/ ice block!! Also, those Kbars are my life, they are only 50c here and I get them every Thursday when I walk home from school.

I definitely think those are the same as what are sold as cady cigarettes in the U.S. (though you have to find special stores that specialize in vintage candy to find them because its not really thought of as good to get kids into smoking early), try holding them over an open flame and they bubble kind of like a roasted marshmallow (and taste similar too)

WrestlingChick81 New Zealand has some seriousy good snacks and treats. Sometimes when I try something in one of my videos I get a little disappointed that we don't get some of the items here in Australia.

hello Tam...another awesome video *yay!* thought of something for you to try or at least consider at some point...they're called Chimes Ginger Chews...if you like ginger, these are pretty amazing...there are many flavors orange being a favorite of mine but there's also mango and peanut butter...think you should be able to get these fairly easily in Australia, they're not terribly expensive if ordered online and depending on where you get them from they are shipped in a really neat metal storage container...just thought these would be interesting for you...just a hint...if you do like ginger, these can be really addictive :)
I used to get those candy sticks in my Halloween candy and my friends and I would never actually eat them(they were disgusting) but we would pretend to smoke and then eventually use it as chalk to write on blackboard and the sidewalk.
I could tell from the way that first one broke off. Even soft it should be stretchy....if that makes sense. Lol, sorry I'm just a tad bit serious with my Kbars. :) Great vids btw!

hello Tam...another awesome video *yay!* thought of something for you to try or at least consider at some point...they're called Chimes Ginger Chews...if you like ginger, these are pretty amazing...there are many flavors orange being a favorite of mine but there's also mango and peanut butter...think you should be able to get these fairly easily in Australia, they're not terribly expensive if ordered online and depending on where you get them from they are shipped in a really neat metal storage container...just thought these would be interesting for you...just a hint...if you do like ginger, these can be really addictive :)

I used to get those candy sticks in my Halloween candy and my friends and I would never actually eat them(they were disgusting) but we would pretend to smoke and then eventually use it as chalk to write on blackboard and the sidewalk.

I found that absolutely hilarious that a company would market a classy looking chocolate like L&P Chocolate and then add popping candy. 😂😂😂
