I have used my ultra dark twice now and LOVE it so much. It's lasts really long too. I have no idea why anyone wastes their time with any other tanner.
This one breaks me out terribly unless I wash it off right when I wake up, even then I still will sometimes get one or two breakouts which drives me nuts because the color is soooo good! I think it’s the fragrance that I wish they wouldn’t put in facial products but it’s still good just the fragrance can break you out if you’re sensitive to fragrance
Totally agree with your review. I do feel like I can go without makeup because it covers up my redness and evens out my skin tone. I really want to try ultra dark
This is probably a dumb question but why do companies make a separate tanner for faces? Is it bad to use body tanners on the face? Thank you for such in depth and honest reviews! You've really helped me to get the best self tan and not look like an oompaloompa!

And some companies make facial self tanners for those skin types. If you're using a body tanner on your face with no issues, I don't see any harm in continuing that.
After the tan develops, any problems with it sweating off? I'm out in the summer sun a LOT! I've added a ton of their items to my cart. I have a feeling I'll be staying with this one! I'm so happy they have an 8 oz now in the Dark! Yay! :)
Hey Linda! I know I was so happy to see they made a larger bottle too! I go through that stuff like crazy. I work out a lot and I haven't had any problems with it sweating off. But some weeks I need to apply it like twice if I've been sweating more than normal or swimming more often. Hope this helps!

Have you done a review on the tanning mousse from Tanceuticals? I've heard it was significantly stickier than the lotion. Otherwise I'm ALWAYS returning to the body lotion! It's seriously the best.
Hey Miriam! I have tried their mousse :) Compared to the lotion, it's a little stickier, but it still produces a very nice color. Their lotion is still my favorite, have you tried their Ultra Dark yet? It's amazing

Any tips for applying the new dark CC body lotion? I know you have a reviewing coming but I am leaving in a week :( Also I often get a custom spray tan for vacations, if I did that could I apply this face lotion to keep it fresh while on vacation? Hi there! Yes, you can definitely apply the face lotion to keep your tan looking dark and fresh. I'd follow their instructions on their website for applying the lotion. That's what I did and mine always comes out even. And then make sure to wait til your tan is completely dry before putting your clothing on.

The Ultra Dark color is amazing, I love it! And I love how their face lotion covers blemishes, such a nice perk.
