despite people saying it leaves a sticky film on the skin I tried it. I didn't feel sticky at all just very dewy but in a good way. no streaks the next day either. it was so easy and smelled good.
Mackenzie Nash I agree with you I just tried it for the first time. I glides on your skin so well and it leaves your body very soft plus it smells very good. I saw the results right the way after I dried it off.
I personally didn't feel slimy at all. I used the amount as recommended on the bottle. It dried within 2 minutes and left me with a nice tan. Highly recommend.
I patted myself dry then applied the lotion, waited 10 minutes, then dried off whatever was remaining. It was sticky for a few minutes then it went away. I saw results even after one application. I definitely recommend.
I use this everyday and have never had a sticky film. Also, i put it on, run it in like lotion, dry, and rub it in again. Never sticky, never streaky, very natural looking. Also, i put a regular lotion on my knees, ankles, elbows, wrists, top of my feet, and back of hands after I rubbed the wet moisturizer in the 2nd time. This helped to not cake up the tanning agent. On days I wasn't showering (I shower every other day or my skin is super dry no matter what), I used the jergens daily glow lotion. This helped to keep the natural looking tan on days I wasn't getting my body wet.
It doesn't feel sticky for me. I used it about 45 minutes ago and it took maybe 10 minutes for it to really soak in but now that it has, my skin feels soft and moisturized.
I have very fair skin, but I want a little color on my legs without burning them in the sun. So i purchased the Jergens for wet skin this year. I tried the dry skin last year. I really love the wet skin better. It smells better, looks more natural, and you dont have to wait for it to dry. I just shower in the morning, put on the Jergens, pat dry and then get dressed. I have only used it twice so far, and I like the slight color I have.
Question about sort of piggy backing products. How do you feel about using the Jergens Instant sun mousse at night before bed, showering that off in the morning, and then moisturizing with this product? Too much? I was thinking of trying to prolong the tan.
I loved it, the next morning I smelled delicious. I take two showers a day n my skin has never felt softer. I love Jergens self tanners. I also have their self tanning mouse. Tx for sharing.
You can use powder to soak up sticky🙂.. if it’s super slimy I would say may have used too much product.. I’m about to try again for this season.. used it last season.. redhead skin.
i know u said men can use this but if i use this on hairy legs will it blotch and streak terribly? i dont shave but im super pale and i used to use the natural glow normal lotion back when i did shave and i liked it. i exfoliated before applying so i hope it will reduce any problems. do you think its required to shave before using?
Ok the instructions just say "glide the lotion evenly onto wet skin" - does this literally mean just glide it on and go or am I suppose to take my time blending this in like a regular lotion? I do not want splotches
I surprisingly liked this!! Water and self tanner scary!! Very silky, I used in morning so to lessen moisture “feel “ I just used a little baby powder where it felt too much.. nice shade of tan on my pale skin.. medium
I'll be honest and say that you will feel slimy and gross when you apply it after your shower. It rubs off your towel though and does not stain anything. Once you dry off your skin just feels moisturized. I use it to help make my self tanner last longer but I haven't noticed any color buildup from this product so that's a downside to it.
Mine came out streaky! I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong! I used my hands, after I got done with the shower I dipped dryied not rub dried. I put lotion on my knees and ankles before applying this!! I put it on just like a lotion so I wasent really paying attention to how I applied it.. Help
@@Selftanning after the shower ended like right after I shut off the water So my skin is very wet.. I put lotion of my knees but they still end up darker
Hey there. It's hard for me to show the tanner on my skin because I'm constantly trying new self tanners. So sometimes I will film a video review a week or so after I try the tanner.

Yeah I wasn't dewy or sticky I just tried it

I love that you respond to everyone's comments. I trust you're opinion because you show you care about your subscribers.
Hey Maddie! It's my pleasure :)
Don't dry as usual or it will streak. Pat yourself dry with your towel. If you use the amount recommended it drys and doesn't feel sticky.
I patted myself dry then applied the lotion, waited 10 minutes, then dried off whatever was remaining. It was sticky for a few minutes then it went away. I saw results even after one application. I definitely recommend.
I didn't feel sticky after :) I love the product
Oh good, I'm glad to hear you love it!

I did not feel slimy. It was good. Made my skin feel soft. Loved it.

Hey Krysten, I think you could definitely try that out!
can you use this on the face too?
I just picked this up off the shelf tonight. I can't wait to try it!

Good to know!

Hey there, I think it should be fine if you use this on hairy legs.
There was no film at all left on my skin. Once you dry off that lotion feel comes off but you still remain moisturized
Is your tan the result from this self tanner? I'm definitely going to try!
Hey Ali! No, I'm not wearing the Jergens one here. I think I'm wearing Tanceuticals CC Body Lotion Dark or Fake Bake here :)
Great concise review!! ❤

Hey Anna, I literally just glided it over my skin.
I've been binge watching your channel and I just have to ask, where the heck do you shop at girl? Your clothes are adorable!!!!
Thank you! I shop a lot of different places, shopping is probably my favorite thing to do besides self tan lol This is a dress from Bebe though!
I surprisingly liked this!! Water and self tanner scary!! Very silky, I used in morning so to lessen moisture “feel “ I just used a little baby powder where it felt too much.. nice shade of tan on my pale skin.. medium

Any other wet skin to dry self tan you’d recommend instead?
I unfortunately haven't found one I love :(
Just bought it and am excited to try it. Great review :)
Thank you!
I use this and theres no thick sticky film feeling. Unless you used more than recommended.

When I applied it, it never dried and I felt sticky all night. But you're right, I never saw a drastic tan from it either.

Did you apply it in the shower as directed?

So my skin is very wet.. I put lotion of my knees but they still end up darker
@@abbyrose7924 That's very weird! Maybe it's too dark for you. Self tanners do tend to stick to knees though
What is your sunless tan lotion you love to use
How many times a week did you apply this?
You'll need to apply 3-4 times per week at least.
Perfect, thanks! :)
I love the shirt. Where did you get it?
Thank you! It's a bebe dress :)
+SelfTanning.com Thank you :)
So if I do this tonight I won't look crazy tomorrow right?
No, its not very dark.
Just read comments saying us less .. good idea spreads easily that’s probably the slime she’s talking about 😊
can u out this on your face ???
I'm not sure, I wouldn't because I have sensitive skin.
Did it stain your towel when you dried off?
Hey there! No, not that I remember....
She reminds me of Britney Spears
Did it tan you face?
Hi there, I didn't use it on my face. I like using self tanners that are made for your face on my face, because I have acne prone skin.
I hear 👂 a echo
What is your favorite self tanner of all time?
Hey there! My favorite is Tanceuticals CC Self Tanning Lotion in Dark :)
Streaky!
Why don't you show us the self tanner on your skin when you try out the product. We want to see the color payoff.
