- What would happen if all extroverts were treated like introverts?
These are the challenges extroverts might face if they were to experience life through an introvert's lens. I'm excited to bring you some relatable introvert memes that show exactly how frustrating it can be to be an introvert in 2023. 😂

that made me so uncomfortable 😂 imagine if the roles were actually reversed 😅 (well done, lovely video ❤)
it made me uncomfy doing it 😂
Imagine asking extroverts why they're so loud, or wondering if they struggle with needing validation.
i really want someone to do it and film it for me haha
I actually got told that my laugh is too loud 😃 AND asked why I need validation from people… yeah by the same person 😒😒😒
@@grace_13_guiI was talking to my friend at school during lunch the other day and I was getting really fired up about this one thing, and I guess I got really loud because a teacher walking past looked at me really weird and said "you need to take it down a notch".
I just about died.
When we ask you why are you so quiet its comes from a place of concern like oh are you not enjoying the party is sth wrong? Oh are you upset about sth can i help? No one wants to oppress you we are just asking
But if you come to someone and tell them to stfu its RUDE you shouldn't do that to people its gonna offend them
Been there done that if someone's being loud 24/7 it gets annoying and not everyone likes speaking up about it just like if someones being super quiet most people would ask why as that's unusual behavior if they're clearly struggling with validation whether they like talking to people or not it's something that should be addressed don't let your friends and family struggle
Extroverts believe that there are two types of people: Them , and broken people.
This is absolute gold. I hate being questioned by extroverts about why I’m so quiet and asking if I hate them because I like to keep to myself frequently.
Yes! 👏🏽 being quiet doesn’t mean you’re mad
Thank you! People maybe not intentionally treat introverts as if they have a disease or it’s something to overcome. Seeing it reversed was refreshing.
Totally!! 🎉
I love this role reversal, Abbey. If Extoverts really were judged for socialising too often, then I'd reckon that they'd think twice before judging an introvert for needing excessive amounts of alone time to recharge.
So true!!
As an introvert who can be extrovert when the need arises, this was HILARIOUS, Abs! The reversal was a refreshing spin on the typical trope.
I'm so tired of people treating my introversion like it's some deficiency or disease... Time alone is how I re-energize myself, I'm not lonely!
And yes, reading a book underneath a blanket... hey, don't knock it until you've tried it :-)
*Time alone is how I re-energize myself, I'm not lonely!* ➡️ love this!
And reading a book underneath a blanket is an UNPARALLELED joy.
I think we should all collectively agree to start badgering extroverts this way until it becomes the norm. Just long enough to make them feel so self conscious that they'll think twice before questioning quiet behavior 😄
HAHAHA YES PLEASE
people badger extroverts their entire lives. we're all SO AWARE that people hate us.
@@eloisey6926 I don't know, really? 🤔
The extroverts I know, keep annoyingly bothering me.🤭
loved the video! and also "Why are you so loud? I never hear you being quiet, you should shut up more" XD
So much justice for us underdog introverts❤ Thank you and great video as always!
You are so welcome!
Great video! I’d love to see extroverts’ reactions if they really were treated like this. How does it feel 😂
I know me too 😂
The role reverasal was so damn awesome & hilarious!! 🤣 I now want to tell all these things to extroverts who keep telling why don't you speak? why are you this shy? you should initate the communication.. why are you so boring? how can you live without parties? why would you prefer going to cafe alone with your book- that's so sad???????? 😏😐
My son was a flaming extrovert - but he was smart enough to realize that while he had friends, not everyone was a "best" friend, though they were friends. We did teach him the word acquaintance and just realized that to him everyone was a potential friend. Loved that about him.
"We taught him the word acquaintance" 😂
I do love that about extroverts though. Everyone is a potential friend. Never closed off. A good thing to learn from them.
I must admit... all (both) of my best friends were serious extroverts.
I've known so many people who never stop talking,
I swear they breathe through their ears...
Its the only use i could see for them even having them 🤔
The fact that I literally was just talking the other day about how extroverts would react if introverts treated them this way makes this video even more hilarious🤣
I'm involved in church and faith-based groups and often wish my extrovert friends were required to take a "retreat" that involved solitude and silence for three days, just as I am often required to participate in three days of "retreats" that involve sharing bedrooms and being in large groups 24/7, playing games, etc. 🙄
on-point
This made me laugh, a lot thank you, when you get to the point of not caring what people think of you that's when life gets fun. I can stand there and listen and when I hear one bad comment on how quite or weird I'm being I can simply walk off and be me. Back in the days I would get nervous, start talking nonsense, laugh when they laugh, even when it's not funny, and when told I'm weird I would explain to them for 10 mins how I am as a person and in the end they still wouldn't understand lmao. It's a battle we will NEVER win unless we stop giving a damn
This is my inner monologue around extroverts. Just wish I was brave enough to say 😂😂
I loved the, "Are you always so confident. That is so awesome. My teachers would have beaten that out of me...." I have so wanted to ask extroverts that 😊😊😊
My classmate always volunteers to do public speaking and of course our teacher grades him after, so anytime he does this I'm grateful, because I have less chance to be picked next, but I'm also wondering if he's feeling okay.. 😅
I wonder if different cultures are more accepting of introversion than others. The cultural expectations in the US in particular are SO geared towards extroversion. Should we move to Iceland? 😂
I definitely think so! In Japan, silence is considered valuable. If you've ever been on a subway there, it's such a different vibe than in the US. I feel like introverts would be celebrated there.
🤣🤣 Society is definitely biased towards extroverts. We assume introverts are depressed and hapless, and we are forced to be with people way more than we are forced to be alone because people don't think it's a big ask.
omg, that would be so irritating. Respect to introverts fr ❤
love this
♥️ glad you enjoyed!
Hilarious!
Yay!
Spot on 👏👏👏
OMG!! This is awesome!!!
Not everyone has that ability to maintain one or two close friendships... 🤣🤣🤣
This was really great Abbey!
I wish I had that of these from about 5 years old to a couple years ago (42 now!) I'm probably gonna borrow a few of these!
My aunt Vaness would hate this! (She's Enneagram 8 wing 7 and ENTJ. Myers Briggs matters Abbey ;) Mandarin is INFJ.)
@1:20 Until they train themselves to be able to repeat the last few words you said. 😁
Like my ESTP bf. (INFJ here)
bro i am so glad extroverts are not treeted like introverts -ESTP
I'm an extovert and this is so funny 🤣😭
I started a course called “Networking for Introverts” but nobody showed up 😂
hahahaha
380th like. This is so funny
Most extroverts are super annoying 😬
🤣🤣🤣
yaaasss DRAAG THEEEEEEEMMMMUUUGHGHG
LOLLLLL
I'm so ASHAMED to be an extrovert. We are shallow, stupid and abusive🤬. I hate myself for that. Do you think an extrovert can become an introvert?
The older you get, the more you grow out of it. I know people in their 60's and 70's who were extroverted in their younger years but now that their older, wiser, and more mature, they are no longer extroverted.
@@nyc4life448no, extrovertion and introvertion are inborn. You can change your behaviour, but you will always be either extroverted or introverted.
Lol, if somebody told me these things, I would just look at them as "what's your problem?" for most of these things 🤣 Also, not all extroverts have a lot of best friends
i mean FAIR. these are all quite mean.
There is not extrovert or Introvert .
