Thank 👋
The Morning Crown has been to the port i work at numerous times delivering Kia cars and im sure one or two of the other have also, to see those things up close is mind boggling, huge is an understatement.
My favorite vessel is M/V Tønsberg. Because i`m Norwegian and live in the city of Tønsberg ,which is also the home city of Wilhelmsen shipping company. And the oldest city in Norway. Founded in the year 871.
🇳🇴⚓ That's interesting to hear! The M/V Tønsberg must hold a special place in your heart, considering your connection to the city and its rich history. 🏰🌊 I'm curious to know more about the features and capabilities of the vessel. Let's dive deeper into the world of RO RO ships and explore their significance in global shipping. 🚢🔍💡
I work for Wallenius but I’ve never seen any of these, I believe it’s because the port we work out of is too small for these. We do have a pretty constant flow of Subaru, Mitsubishi, Jaguar Land Rover, as well as Maserati and Aston Martin on both Wallenius and Glovis ships. The Glovis brings Hyundai and Kia
So, you must dive into physics laws of stability of floating objects in water. Cargo, roro ships etc. usually has several ballast tanks. So the combined effect of a ship's buoyancy, low center of gravity, and ballast keep the ship from tipping over. The ships stable equilibrium: the forces of gravity and the buoyancy must be in line and the centre of gravity must be below the metacentre.
FIX YOUR VIDEO! I thought my system was acting up because the screen kept flashing red and displaying an "X". Finally @5:57 in, i decided to rewind a few seconds and confirmed. It's you video. I wonder how many people probably dismantled their systems thinking it was their equipment when in fact it is your video. Please correct this.
@@asanokatana Thank you. I hadn't even thought of that. You would think that with all the censorship nazi's on social media, this would have been caught by now. Appreciate the update 🤙
#forMe the biggest ship Roro boat is they have 1kilometer wider size, and 6kilometer lenght size that have 10times more speed than biggest ship cruise ship that run on the sea water.
Um, don’t think so, some locations that no longer have a local vehicle manufacturing industry rely on imported vehicles, say AU, NZ, and various other locations around the world. With local waitlist of 3-24 months for some makes these ships will become more common. Cheers.

How do they manage to stay so high above the water? They don't seem to be touching deep. How heavy their bottom has to be to keep them from rolling?
A very good question
Oh buoy a good question !

My favorite vessel is M/V Tønsberg...I was the Captain of the ship from May 2015 to Aug 2015...!!!
FOR REAL?
@@maximilianol.cunado9127 I relieved Capt Stein Erik Flø, Seniormost Master in Wilhelmsen Group, from Norway and in turn he relieved me in Aug2015...
As a Wilhelmsen I feel proudness.👍
It's great you feel but greatness is that you feel good about others
Forget to mention if dey hit iceberg like one of their ancestors .
Halifax hybrid called! "We're gonna need A ...smaller Shipp!

Roll on and roll off is the best

I've been inside a few of these ships, and can attest to their size

WTF
too small ships
318
This type of ship is a dinosaur. Thee will be no more. Smaller, more flexible is the future.

The number 1 ship of this class, the MV Tonsberg is by chance off our coast today 17/05/23 waiting to offload at Port Kembla.
Make one hospital 🏥 🚢 ship. The world is at stake.
