Hi Tag! Lurker of 4 years here. I came out of my cave to tell you that it's not you, it's them. Try catching some rare fish in handheld mode, and I bet you will succeed easily. Someone told me recently that screen latency affects catching fish in docked more, particularly the rare ones, as they drop off the line faster. I was struggling a lot in docked mode.

Tag, I’ve learned that you hear the bobber sink before your eyes see it. Try closing your eyes or looking away and listen for the fish bite. My success rate went way up when I did this 😁
