I purchased several tiny yarrow plants about 5 yrs ago. They usually grow to about 2 - 2 1/2 ft each year, though I generally cut them down to about 4 inches each fall. I also find the base stems have become very woody over time. Is this because they need to be divided?
Good indication
Same principle applies to most perennials.
