Great video and information! We are about to put in a saltwater pool in the pasture and our bees being drawn to the pool is my biggest concern. Do you think the cutoff water source will work if the pool is saltwater instead of chemically treated? I have one hive that will be about 30 - 40 feet from the pool and the other hives will be about 100 feet from the pool. Thanks!

You’d have to test to be sure
My wife loves to swim in her pool and I had to find a solution this really does work - Other folks have run tests to see what they would choose pond water salt water chlorine water and mineral water and they will choose the mineral water every time- I keep a mineral block near my buckets so every couple weeks when I dump and refill them I can hammer off a small little piece and treat my buckets-I just placed a piece of OSB over it to keep the rain from deteriorating it-Thanks for watching!

Hey Barry - Ha! Yea it’s mostly the wife’s pool she uses it more than any of us. I haven’t used it in years. I try to remember to put the buckets out in time or the pool gets swarmed with bees. Happy wife Happy life!
