- Hey everyone! I finally got those gorgeous tools (and a sword) made and they're just as pretty as I thought they'd be. I also dove further into Ars and of course tinkered around with some more mods so I can't wait for you to come along on the adventure with me.

Tangentially related to my other comment…while the starbuncle harvesters are absolutely adorable, Harvesting Pylons really excel at auto-harvesting crops in up to a 9x9 area. You can saturate them with a water source block, so the trick is to put a 1 block hole in the center of your 9x9 (or whatever size below that) farm, put a water source block into it, and put the Harvesting Pylon inside. You add a (ideally indestructible) hoe to the Harvesting Pylon's inventory, set the harvesting area size, and then put a storage block on top. It will autoharvest your crops and push them into storage as soon as they're grown!
Keep an eye out for Ep 38.....I dive into the pylon since someone else also suggested it. :D TY for the tips though!

For the source generation you can also have the starbuncles "recycle" the source berries into source with a mycelial something or other, Sjin in his enchant the world series goes over it! He also goes through mine colonies as well!
The mystical agriculture watering bucket will work like bone meal, only better. Not in a botany pot, though.
The other thing about vein-mining crops is that if you target a crop that is not ready to harvest it will harvest the rest around it, so likely what you were doing in the earlier times was double right-clicking - I didn't find any examples in scrubbing through a dozen episodes.
Oh yeah, and it seems like any crop added after sweet berries (or whose class is extended from them) won't vein-mine right. Source berries are really just sweet berries in disguise, soul berries are just glow berries with funky fresh beats, and uhh... I forget the rest.
Last edit I swear: Ars pedestals only need to be within a 3-block radius, and the order on the pedestals doesn't matter.

You can speed up mystical ag a TON by using normal farmland with red fertilizer app,ied and a handful of lillies of fertility...i put four, one at each corner of a 9x9 and my crops grew insanely fast!! Put waterlogged slabs at each spot where the lilly goes
You can make glass that's wither proof. It's called Tinted Glass from the Mob Grinding Utilities mod. All it takes is coal and glass to make.
creo reading a comment telling her the layout for the enchanting apparatus doesn't matter, for how the pedestals are places or the order of items. as long as there's at least the number of pedestals needed and all the items are on pedestals near it. and she still trying to do it like it have to be in a specific order

Omg...I never even thought of it (The Create/Creo thing) that way and you just made me laugh way too hard with that realization. xD
The paxel is my all time favorite tool ... its a pick axe, a shovel and an axe ... so its really the only tool I carry ... since it mines stone, digs dirt and chops wood with effortless ease due to the Efficiency IX ...and is pretty also since its an alloy tool!
I use a paxel as I travel and explore. It leaves space in the inventory and on the hot bar. Working around the base, it pays to have special purpose tools in the same way that it pays to have a tool without chainsaw around the house.
It does NOT matter in what order you place stuff on the infusion pedestals, I dare you to try it :)
You can make creosote oil in a coke oven, it's a multi block structure from Immersive engeneering, you had it in front of you, but you didn't read it. :)
Yeah that happens sometimes but it's all part of the learning process. :)
It shows the source required in the enchanting apparatus recipe screen. Source: 5000 for each of those alloy tools you made. When you made the dominion wand, it didn't require source. As you assumed, not everything requires source, like the small things.
Also, wanted to say, I am very much enjoying this series. My computer is getting kind of old, and atm9 is out of my reach for the moment. Getting my play through enjoyment through your vids! :)

For God forge pearls, I head to the end and explore a little til apotheosis boss spawns (pretty sure they're always legendary) but I've also captured a treasure goblin in a containmemt jar and have a drygmy collecting loot from it. It's been getting me a decent amount of gear and gems.
Oh that's an awesome idea....I'm going to add that to the list because I def need some more god forged pearls. :D

And apotheosis bosses spawn fast in the end, and it’s open enough that you can find them.
for ars, some recipes require source, some dont, it will say in the recipe in JEI, (each full jar can hold 10,000 source). also you can put hoppers on the pedestals and as the peds only take one item at a time itll speed up bulk crafting, you will still have to insert and remove the middle items (unsure if you can hopper into the middle one...maybe worth a try) you can turn the peds into shorter ones that look like just the top of them and they still work
for moving source over to the crafting set up,there are source relays (think thats what they are called) that you can use.
oh i forgot, i believe yo can use mystical essence to fully grow a mystical agriculture plant when on farmland to spead it up. and as every myst plant makes it, you should have loads

For real though its fine, I think if anything youre limited by your power at this point. I usually top out at 16 rods. I'd recommend more generators, but I'm not sure if you're decided on that little area for power though. It still seems like an area you're planning on breaking down and moving elsewhere (e.g. Keep Kayra) later. Or build a generator hut next to your victorian home? lol
Ars Pedesetels have a "flat" version you can put as a plate and attach it to the surface of the apparatus itself. It adds another dimension of where pedestels can go, in case you wanted to experiment with shapes and layouts. The recipes are shapeless as well so don't worry too much about the order in which the crafting ingredients go, so long as the thing youre putting into the enchanter is last, she'll be right as rain.
To move source, look up "Source Relay" in the book. It moves source for about 30 blocks. If anything I would suggest a huge ring of plants all around the entire Ars clearing, but then the particles might get crazy
I'd give mystical it's own place. It can get laggy. I have mine inside a hyperbox. Also, you can put a redstone block under the Infusion Altar and it'll just work as soon as you put the seed in instead. You won't have to hit a button every time.

[for your consideration] We've been chanting "library" for at least 20 episodes. It's a brain melter, but you'll be so much happier once you have it. It takes a lot of space too as you'll need to make multiple enchanting setups to make it.
1:44:21 pure liquid gold being poured straight into my ears! These are just the first blows from that final FINAL boss, "infrastructure". In all seriousness though, 1 seed with insanium farmland is more than enough for the entire playthrough. There aren't that many things you need to "awaken". I'm sure you'll have more than enough by the next ep after some inbetween episode cleanup.
Finally, look for creosote through the immersive engineering recipe tree and not greg tech, or just make a phytogenic insulator instead of a garden cloche. The recipe tree can be tricky to navigate, and might lead you down some weird greg tech rabbit hole. The phytogenic insulator from thermal dynamics is a much more straightforward machine, and it doesn't blow up. I've said it before though I am just completely avoiding gregtech so it's a choice.

A Paxel is actually a Combination Tool that is functional as a Pickaxe, Axe, and a Shovel all in one. Some packs its better to use them than any of the other three but its mostly a gameplay choice.
as for the source, solution. Some of the crafting recipies will require an amount of source especially some of the bigger ones, however not all crafts require source to complete. it should show you on the recipe page in jei whether itll use source or not.
It's been fun learning to make it so at least I have the knowledge for down the road now.

@@Creothina your welcome Ms Creo. I enjoy watching and helping where I can. The Paxel originally started back in 1.7 as the AOIT From Botania, the All In One Tool. It counted as a sword then as well and you could put the sword enchant on it like sharpness. But I believe it became the Paxel around 1.12 because originally you could only make them out of manasteel, elementium, and terra steel. I think. Botania isn't a strong source of knowledge me but I've got the basics.
I think the starbuncles tricked you and picked up some magebloom that you had harvested with your magnet turned off. Not sure if you have used the harvester pylon before, or if it's in ATM9, but that is what I ended up using for magebloom (well, all my crops) in my ATM8 play. There might be something that makes the magebloom pop, if you want the cuties to collect them. There is some create harvesting methods for harvesting that leaves the resource on the ground. Not super pretty in that magical in that area...
I'm not too sure if it's in the pack but I'll take a look when I record tomorrow to see because that pylon sounds handy. lol
you get creasote from the coke oven you make coke bricks you make 27 coke bricks place em in a 3x3x3 cube click it with the immersive engineering hammer and you have a coke oven cook coal in it to make coke and a by product is creasote you use a bucked with 8 planks to make treated planks.

Good news...you dont ever need create to do stuff in mystical agriculture...jei is just showing you all the different waays and mods you can use to do something...you don't need any m9d but mystical agriculture to do stuff in mystical ag...the main way to get anything such as essences of water, fire, earth and air is to make seeds for them in mystical agriculture.
I'd say that's pretty good news indeed. lol

Source speeds the craft but aren’t necessary as far as I am aware. That’s what another UA-camr said. Also I don’t think it matters where you place them on the pedestals

Also I really hope this didn't cause you any issues because I made my alloy weapons in my world literally a day before this video went out and realized that to do them the enchanting aparatus actually does need source and felt really bad for leaving that comment cause I didn't know that there were exceptions

@@Creothina I'm glad you had other jars there- I haven't seen other recipes need source so I believe these are just "special" since they are the alloy tools. I was planning on commenting about this under today's video after I discovered it yesterday and then I read the title and just went "oh no she already made them"

Also mystical agriculture has it's own version of bone meal- the Fertilized Essence. Not sure if you have some, it has a small chance to drop from essence crops. (It can also be used to craft fertilizer for other recipes, but I believe you can just use it straight on the crops to "bone meal" them)

My main sword is pretty OP right now but whenever I need more damage for the tankier guys I'll be sure to look into Vorpal. :D
Side note you can also use a ritual to trap mobs and bosses in ars novar jars and use starbuckles to farm them ps don’t break the jars with out silk touch or they will escape I think pps use source to power it I think chosen architect did something similar
