Followed these instructions today to install a 0.8 nozzle on my late version K1 Max and it worked like a charm!! The only issue was a small tear in the silicone sock but I have extras. Other than that it was a quick and easy piece of cake - and the prints are looking incredible! Thanks Creality, loving my K1 Max!!
mi herramienta para sacar la boquilla tienen distinto diámetro en cada extremo, por lo que para sacar la boquilla la herramienta solo debe estar de forma vertical cuesta mas hacer el torque. creality siempre tiene videos distintos a la realidad, es es donde hay muchos cambios, pero feliz con mi k1 max, lo malo es que el kit de boquillas ronda los 58 dólares(3 boquillas)( me responderán que cualquier problema no dude en consultar el área de soporte gracias los quiero)

Its thermal grease wht you are suposed to put
I had the same question then I saw the thermal grease in there, little tiny packet... Pretty sure that's what's used here
It looks like thermal paste applied on the nozzle.
I tried doing this today and the nozzle got stuck when unscrewing. It broke eventually and now I have to order a new heater block.
Was the nozzle at 240 before you removed it?
Also did you make sure to hold the top portion in place with a wrench while loosening the nozzle?
@@random147555 yes and yes to the 240 questions as well. the screw only got stuck when it's about 2 cm out. before that there was some resistance but it unscrewed ok. anyway i got a new heat block and for the new one, I could unscrew the nozzle cold and it unscrewed without resistance.
i did a few prints and was able to do a nozzle swap with no issues.

if my k1 max came with the unicorn nozzles, can i replace it with a regular nozzle? Last time i tried, i had filament oozing out the top of the hotend. Wasted 2 nozzles and needed a new hotend. Maybe it was my error on me, but i feel like i installed correctly.

So where does one find the silicone grease that is required to install the new nozzle?? You show it in the video yet it did not come with the rest of the tools included with my new K1 Max (Please provide an ACTUAL answer... consejo, no comprar nunca mas a futuro algo de creality.... la cama imprimiendo abs al despegar piezas se rompe, cambiar el noozle es un dolor de cabeza, ahora entiendo por que bambu arrazo con todo. ah y el sensor lidar bien gracias, no sirve para un carajo. es preferible ahorrar plata y comprar una bambu lab.

And i just broke my 3rd hotend, why did you all make the nozzle and the hotend like this? A part that regularly needs replacement intertwined with a part so delicate the slightest touch breaks it? This is why I went with Bambu instwad of the K2 when it was time to upgrade. So damn annoying

Apparently they randomly ship either a new K1 with the short simple to exchange unicorn nozzles and some with the old ender v3 style nozzles.
I bought a whole bunch of those, that specifically said "K1" to make sure they fit...
I like the printer so far but from a customer/communication perspective, they are shit beyond believe
Whey do you heat up the nozzle before swapping it? My printer gives me an error when I remove the nozzle and starts to cool down as soon as I unscrew the nozzle

They are just retracting the filament which heats up the nozzle
@disabledbread9455 so that's it? It looked like they retracted it before, then heated again? I put a new nozzle in my k1c cold, and it worked fine though. So it's not needed to be heated when loosening? First time I did mine I watched a different creality video, it wasn't as in depth, I think I had the machine off most the time
HEAT IT, then turn the machine off. A warm hot end, will let go of the nozzle easier, and seat the new one better.
There is a thermal interface material on the hot end that will let go of the old nozzle easier and seat the new nozzle better when hot.
I want to sue you guys followed instructions and it broke
