He has a strong arm but he consistently underthrows his WR's, missed many automatic TD's because of it.
Probably didn’t have the chemistry as strong as Hooker. We’ll see if that’ll change this year!

I think there’s also a mental aspect, he knows his arm is so huge that he doesn’t want to overthrow so he over compensates and throws short

If the receivers aren’t catching in stride, it’s the QBs fault most of the time. Putting the ball behind them is usually the culprit.
