Yeah even after so many decades young Keith's body was still not found and his own poor mother Winnie is still looking for him is just tragic. I and many other people hope that she will find her son and bury him properly with all the other victims of the evil couple and that Winnie can finally live out her final years in peace knowing that she found him.

I hate when people make excuses for, or act like the female in these killer couples are some how not as guilty as the males. Often saying they were under some sort of spell by the male, or that they wouldn’t have committed any crimes if it wasn’t for the male. Thats just BS.

That’s not true though, the motive in most serial killer couples is the dudes sex drive. I honestly cant think of a case where that isn’t true.

I am asking because I personally want to put myself in this exact picture to truly see how fucked up it all is. I always want to put my shoes in the victim's shoes and try to imagine just that experience. Basically if you could listen to the tape without getting traumatised you could do the job. That transcript is readily available with a quick Google search, perhaps the same is true in this case. The peat on the moors moved over time so when they went back up for searches, the body of Keith had shifted under the ground from where he was originally buried.
I've lived in that area since I was born and was only told about this during high school. We'd walk on the moors at school every year for a sponsored hike. Chilling to think that Brady was still alive at that time and that poor Keith was buried somewhere around us.

It's called "Longford" and is primarily about Myra's years in jail after being convicted, and how she continued being manipulative and cunning, despite the sincere efforts of a reformist politician (Broadbent) to find humanity in her.
Samantha Morton plays Myra, and Andy Serkis is blood-chilling as Ian Brady. His performance is phenomenal. A great film worth watching if you come across it.

Turned up at a new job and there he was, but more than that, the only reason he ever went to England from Glasgow was because the Scottish courts effectively gave up on his repeat offending and banished him to his real mother in Manchester.
There are no respectable psychologists or criminal profilers who believe she would have done what she did without meeting Brady. Yes, she was a tough working-class Mancunian bird who took no nonsense, yes she sought excitement, she was manipulative and cold-hearted, but she probably wouldn't have done that.
