Podia vs Kajabi: What’s the BEST Online Course Platform? (And Why I Use BOTH)

- Considering Podia vs Kajabi as your online course platform?I am a bit weird and actually have started to use BOTH for various programs. And honestly it's not an ideal situation. However I find things I really like and dislike about both course platforms and I wanted to share with you HOW I use both Kajabi and Podia in my business in this comparison video - learn online course platforms comparison.
To be clear, I usually recommend Podia for most of my students especially those who are more budget conscious and want to sell more simple courses or digital products. I love that in Podia you can have as many products as you want for sale without paying more. I will also say that Podia has recently come out with NEW features that make their platform even better and closer to becoming on-par with Kajabi in terms of their all-in-one solution.

I do think Kajabi is a great option for those who want more customization of their platform, the ability to customize their sales pages and especially the course hosting platform section. That is why I use it for my big programs that are too complex to fit Podia structure.
I have found there are still many limitations to Kajabi though, anytime I have tried to create a landing page for a client inside Kajabi I was very frustrated with how limiting the landing page builder is. To be fair, Podia is not any better, but for landing page builder I prefer to use Clickfunnels so I can have complete control. I say this because Kajabi says they are a complete solution, a total all-in-one, but I don't think they are there yet in terms of quality.

Also what platform do you think is best in terms of peer learning - if you wanted the students to interact more?
I'm leaning towards Podia as a basic, straight-forward platform to host free content and primarily focus on list/audience building. Once I have an actual audience (and some modest sales to go with it), then I'll think about scaling up and transitioning to more advanced tools. If I can't make $1 on Podia, then how am I going to make $4 on Kajabi?

totally going to continue with Kajabi. I love the idea of podia, but Kajabi definitely works best or me when it comes to sub-category and more control over the organization of the course modules. :) Thanks for this amazing in depth video.

LOVED this video! I'm thinking of going with Podia... seems simple enough. Currently on the Thinkific free plan but its ugly and not that user friendly! Question... do you edit your own videos or get someone to do it? I'm needing to outsource this and love the way yours has been edited.

Excellent video, it helped me so much. I will start selling my digital products on Podia and when I will gain more money, I will switch on Kajabi. Even if Kajabi seems to be complicated and very pricy, it is the best platform for digital membership, courses!

Been having almost two years and I haven't did well with Kajabi, it's technically above my creative thinking brain. It has cost me over 3000 plus for the platform and over 3000 for hiring tech to design and links and setup things yet I haven't made a dime because it's not done still. I am doing a trail for podia

Hi, I've just let you another comment on your previous video explaining why you switched to Podia saying that they now offer live chat on landing pages (not just on courses) so that you can talk to your leads :) I notice on their website that they offer different types of Courses you can create such as Standalone Courses and Drip Courses as well. With Drip Courses you can "Deliver your course content to your students section-by-section set to a schedule of your choosing". Doesn't that resolve the problem you thought you have and made you choose Kajabi for you more complex courses?
It’s more about the layout of kajabi that I liked vs podia. I still use podia thougu so it’s not that I dislike it. It just only provided one way to structure the course. That might have changed since I made the video. I’d have to check!
Hi, am I able to lock modules until homework is completed? I don’t want my students to access the next module until they complete assignments. Is this possible?

I believe in kajabi you can set up a quiz but not sure about assignments. I don’t believe this is possible in podia but I’m not 100%. I haven’t used this feature myself.
Love the details! I am just getting started with creating online courses. What are your thoughts on tools like CourseFunnels? Any previous experience with it? It has this inbuilt email marketing & lots of other profit-bosting plugins too!

Where are the UA-cam stage setting Videos everyone uses that tells them what warm Glowing Light to use and what pot plant oh and that little book shelf, book shelves are big now everyone has a book shelf behind them on Zoom, i never seen so, many bookshelves.
