- These are just a few short scenes from the live performance (!!!). All are amateur recordings and are used to get a little impression and to remember. All snippets of the appearance were filmed with a small compact camera. Sound was recorded with the in-camera microphone. Sorry, sorry, sorry to all quality fanatics for these conditions.

An interesting note , i don't think senri will ever reach a plateau of excellence, meaning she will just keep getting better and better. Watching her perform from a teenager to a young woman proves this i believe. The best drummer right now and for the foreseeable future. I am a fan for life
Discovered her a month ago, I am a drummer for 60 years and I am hooked!
Pete Fuentes if you think she’s the best then you need to get out more often. As amazing as Senri is I think she’d fall on her face playing if she went into the Zilgian live series. She doesn’t have that level of groove and musicality in her playing. Let’s just say she’s no Larnel Lewis. I also think that Anika Nilez is a better drummer and by the way she’d ace the Zilgian live series.
I think she will soon top the great Buddy Rich. If he were still living, he's agree, then yell at her for not using the traditional grip with her lefty lol
ALIZEE LILLY Senri is a really amazing drummer but if you take a moment and look at the guys people regard as the best you’ll be able to see the holes in her game and that there is a next level up. I don’t think you understand drumming but I give you credit your a devoted Senri fan!👍🏾

Super drummer Senri-chan is a world-class Japanese treasure.
Senri is just 23 years old she is a phenomenal drummer. Anybody that says she has no groove and musicality is deluded or clearly not a fan. Check her out at the Japan jazz festival her musicality and her groove and her mature playing for such a young age is awe-inspiring. She is a joy to watch simply because she cannot stop smiling . What a talent.
Yes. A few times I've heard her unfairly labelled as a human drum machine (probably by drummers jealous of her technique), but I agree that she definitely has a voice of her own that comes out in her jazz and fusion work.

Senri plays so clean precise with full control of dynamics and doesn't repeat herself l'm a drummer with a career of more than 50 years under my belt .I ' ve studied from masters like Tony Williams , Elvin Jones , Bill Cobham ,Jack de Johnette, A. Mouzon , Eric Gravatt ...and today l am aware of Dennis ,Eric etc.....If Senri keeps improving like this...... Watch out guys.

I was so shaken by Senri Kawaguchi's performance so sustainably and violently that I couldn't stand the appearance of the following professional drummer. It seemed to me that he was playing music in slow motion, with sticky glue on the sticks, under a thick, musty blanket ... sorry ... He has a name and a lot more listeners flow into the room ... strange !?

There are technically better drummers out there. YES. There are! But, Senri is a musician’s musician. She’s got skill and technique. Sure. What’s great about her though is that she’s fun to listen to. She plays music instead of just chops. Great stuff.
