I don't care what anybody says, you're shooting and skills are still very impressive !!!
thanks Bryant, Cheers

I agree with you sir even 100 yards would be impressive to me but 1000
Yards this is beyond impressive, thank you for sharing @markandsamafterwork 💯%
Me : shooting 6.5 Grendel with bipod and scope at 200 yards with no wind.
Mark: shooting .357 magnum offhand, standing up, open sights, 1000 yards, in the wind.
Lol, Cheers
Awesome I’ve been wanting to see 357 lever gun videos
They are used a lot for deer guns within 150yrds here in Texas
150 yards is nuts if that's true
Cheers Man
@@dustinscheller7795 it’s true guys use them mostly within 100 yards but it’s definitely used to 150
Your long range prone shooting skills are mind blowing enough, but I am even more impressed by your shooting offhand. Please produce an instructional episode aimed at helping us become better offhand shots. Thank you! I love the channel.
Cheers Jeremy, thanks
Superb shooting. It reminds me when I worked for John Martz Luger carbine maker from Lincoln, CA in the 1970s and we fired an Artillery Luger pistol with shoulder stock attached at a 900 meter target. It took a magazine each for us to hit the target and the bullets took a few seconds to get there
Awesome, Cheers Cam, thanks
Shooting a 357 Mag at a grand in high wind is freakin crazy and I love it... LOL Great video as always keepem coming guys!!!
Thanks Dan, Cheers
Nice effort with factory ammo. Nice rifle as well.
Thank you.
Cheers Richard
So damn close,, with my Henry 357 lever I can hit 12-in Target at 300 yards consistently I love that gun
Thanks Vic, Cheers
WoW...!!! I can hardly see that far with binoculars. Never mind attempting a shot with a lever gun! Guys! YOU ARE STARS!
Cheers Otto, thanks
Outstanding attempt! I sure as heck wouldn’t stand near that target. Looking forward to the handloads.
Agreed, lol, Cheers
@@markandsamafterwork Cheers and happy holidays to you and Sam.
Brilliant shooting...better than I actually expected considering the ammunition. I may have to put a tang sight on our 24" barreled 357 Model 92. MVA makes a nice one...
Awesome, Cheers Man
These are great little rifles.
Agreed
Fun little project, cheers!
Yep, Cheers
In that wind? You are a madman! Great shooting, I wouldn't even attempt it.
Cheers Man
another good video. Offhand 357 @ 1000 yds. Amazing
Thanks Rich
Awsome - .357 neat little round.
Yep, Cheers
Brilliant shooting. I always enjoyed long range shooting with inadequate rounds and firearms. My K frame S&W .38 at 500 metres was always fun……..and it’s imperative to have a dry ploughed paddock as a backdrop.
Yep, Cheers
Your consistency is out of this world, outstanding
Happy new year mate
Cheers Islamdo and Happy New Year
I'm torn between .357, 44 Mag, and a 30-30 lever gun. Reasons for the .357 and the 44 Mag is caliber sharing with my revolvers. Reason for the 30-30 is slightly better for longer ranges, and I already have a suppressor that is more than capable of handling 30-30 loads.
Cheers
I hunt white tail in the hardwood forests and meadows of West Virginia with a .44 magnum lever action. Anything within 100 yards is point of aim/ point of impact…
….and the majority of shots presented to me are well within that range.
I carry a wheel gun in .44 as well 😄
It felt impossible but you're channel proves that it is possible🙌🙌
Cheers Man
Impressive shots
Cheers
Valiant effort
Cheers Brian
Wow I carry a take-down 357 carbine when I go hiking, and I was wondering if 200 was to far, well you just proved me way wrong
Cheers
Of all the pistol caliber carbine choices, I've seen 357 to be the most useful in balancing between a revolver and the long gun. If you work long enough to get a sweet spot load, it goes from one to the other very easily. The. 44 mag is next and only edges out to the 357 by the 357's trajectory/sectional density for longer shots. I've not shot either past 550 yards though so this video is very interesting, many thanks!!
Cheers
Ranch dog .358, 135gr, Hornady gas check, red wax lube. Your powder will vary of course. And cheers to you, friends.
Great content thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas to you and your family
Thanks John and Merry Christmas to you and yours too, Cheers
I'm missing a 357 rifle in my collection. I like those short guns
Cheers Brian
Fantastic really love your channel Cheers
Thanks Barry, cheers
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year
👍😊 you’ll work it out.
Yep, Cheers
Great shooting Mark.
Cheers West. Thanks man
A lot closer than I expected with factory ammo! I suspect that the shooter has a lot to do with that!!
Thanks Bob, Cheers
I love shooting at 200-300 yards with my 357 revolver, mainly 38 special for ammo.
Awesome, Cheers
Lovely👍. When we can expect you try 9 mm Luger from carbine? 😊
If someone wants to send us one, lol, Cheers
Good job mate
I have same gun and got similar grouping with open sights, only difference was that i was aiming at a 2 litre at 100yards haha
Cheers
Rob
Lol, Cheers Rob
Looks like a blast anyway. Try some custom loads and a tripod or prone off bags?
Cheers
Nice one 👍🏼 I get better long range accuracy with the 358-124grn rf over the 158grn, I'm using bullseye for powder, not sure if you can get that over there.
All the best
Cheers
Reminds me of the scene in Lonesome Dove where Robert Duvall unfolded his Henry’s ladder sight and landed a 44 round square in the belly of the bad guy who mocked his previous shots that hit the dust in front of him.
Lol, Cheers
Been thinking about a Henry in .357 but never thought about long range.
Awesome, Cheers
Factory ammunition is so inconsistent for what you want to do. Neat little challenge
Yep, lol, Cheers
I thought it was pretty good considering just how blustery the wind was.
Thanks Daza
Hard challange. 👍
Pozdrawiam z Polski 🍺
Cheers Adam
Great, close enough to scare someone off and at a 1000yds 👍👍 where did you get the ladder sight ? thanks
Thanks Joe, and as said, found online, years ago, Cheers
I'd be curious to see how well the Hornady LeveRevolution 140gr FTX performs. It's got a pointed tip.
Cheers
If you try handloads, try Lil Gun powder if you have that option. I’m getting 2040 fps with a 158 grain bullet out of 16” barrel.
ua-cam.com/video/uk3pzxE9IFk/v-deo.html
Gus Mcray would approve.
Lol, Cheers Man
Holy hell bro 🤯😂 iron sights and the whole nine 🤯😂
Lol, Cheers
Cheers 🍻
Cheers
Might not have got on target but amazing shooting anyways being that you were using factory ammo
Thanks Stan
@@markandsamafterwork I can't wait to see you shooting with handloads
Nice
Cheers
Nice shooting. I thought 160 m was long distance with my sw686.
Cheers Magnus
15.8gr 2205 with 158gr Hornady xtp@1.6 oal.
In my Rossi.( it’s hot too, proceed with caution).
Yep, 15= maybe even 16grn looks doable, but testing soon, Cheers
I'm using 2400 and 2207. I'm still working up the loads but 2207 so far gives the best accuracy
We have seen one more again, 357 magnum is not suitable for long range shooting. Many thanks for your good and enjoying videos.
cheers Man
Used to have a marlin in 357...44mag and 444 Mar..loved them.. then I got stupid and got married
Lol, Cheers Scott
I wonder if the 160gr FTX that is used in 350 Legened would work with the 357 mag.. it is .355 not .357 but the ruger revolvers use a 9mm cylinder and they shoot gun so why not try it ?? It would most likely hae to be single feed..
Keep up this cool work !!! It makes me want to try this but with a 350 Legend lol
Cheers Adam, thanks
The first 357 mag lever action rifle I ever saw was called a timber wolf. I don't remember who the maker was as it's been many years ago. I never bought one but I've always wanted one after seeing it. Does anyone know who made the timber wolf and if its still produced?
Try google Don, you will find, Cheers
What, not good enough! Man you properly scared that plate given the wind and of course “off hand”.
Lol, cheers Paul
trying to shoot 357 1000 yards ...wow
got closer than I expected (400 MOA)
Cheers
What about 50 - 110 Lever Action? And 50 - 140 Sharp's with max loads ??????
You are welcome to send us those rifles with a few rounds to show everybody..... Cheers
@@markandsamafterwork I was hoping you had one or two since you are showing Lever Action Rifles.
Have A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Doing things the cartridge was NEVER intended for, gets within 12" of target at 2,000 yrds!
Lol, Cheers Chris
im gonna guess that the wind played a huge factor in that example.
Lol, yep a bit, Cheers
357👍😃‼️
👍👍
Yer, what he said,
A tad windy!
Yup, lol, Cheers
"I'm doing stuff this ammo was never designed to do"..... Adds 25 mph crosswind and still gets closer than anyone in these comments could ever get.
Lol, Cheers Man
👍👍👍🤠
Cheers Dave
I can't even see that far without a scope
Lol, Cheers
Is Mark really big or is that rifle really small?
6'4" Cheers
about 330 yard per second
Bullet flight time v speed ua-cam.com/video/peGrrUSUMIA/v-deo.html
Probably still good enough to hunt the outlaw Josie Wales
Lol, Cheers
Ha, Iwas the 357th like.
Awesome, Cheers
I'd love to see what you can do without that gusting wind blowing through there! Nice job though.
Cheers
How the heck are you able to get Winchester.357 Mag ammo? Lol
Lol, Cheers
Mark , I just sent a request to LONGSHOT cameras to send you a 2 mile unit . If they do, please do a follow up video ASAP . If this unit can survive you and your critique. Then it will most likely survive me and my ability to find flaws in every design by good ol fashion bad luck :) I hope they do- this would be a game changer for me and my ELR shooting since I’m usually solo and don’t have a spotter . I wish you two the best and Merry Christmas:)
Thanks Man, and yes would let everybody see, keep in mind not how we do things so not something we would use, but happy to show, Merry Christmas to you too, Cheers
Did you try 600 yards first to see if you had a little consistency?
Yes
@@markandsamafterwork I thought that you would have.
The way your flag was moving at the target it would have been a tough dqy with a magnum!
Love your videos. Thanks
