Being on the House of Justice is a life of sacrifice and responsibility. It’s nothing anyone would actually want unless they had to because they were voted. This is a mercy to women. Being on the House of Justice would require them to neglect their children which isn’t just to ask of them.

Dear friend, I am a woman and I know my important role in the society. As a woman and a mother I had left my occupation that I went to school for 6 years juat to be able to stay home and nurish my children instead of handing them to a nany. Do not get me wrong, I am not questioning working mother who have to leave their children at home with a nany or a daycare.

Your talking about something you don't understand. There is a reason for the members on the Universal House of Justice being men. It takes all of a person's time. How could an expectant mother serve for example? Or if her child is sick? Mother's are the first educators of children. There are reasons for men serving only at the Universal House of Justice. Human reality is not matter of mathematical precision, therefore the language for this purpose is more complex than the simpleness of linear logics/mathematics. Absolute gender equality is absurd. But women can have now any profession, but being a member of the UHJ is not a profession nor a personal right, you don't go to the university to receive the profession of being member of the UHJ. In the field of strict personal and individual development, women have the same rights as men. If these excepcional differences in gender roles are strongly supported and founded on scientific facts ( which are very close to be proved so), there's no strong reason to deny or renegade from this. It's not about women's intelligence ( women are very intelligent), it's something else!

One of the Bab's disciples (The Letter of the Living) was a woman.

Dead right. I commented about that too, all major religions preach their own 'equality between the sexes', to call *one* out as false for misaligning with your definition of equality isn't sensical.
What about the Catholic Church? Women can't be Priests, Cardinals, Bishops or God forbid the Pope. They can't hold religious institutional power either.
Or Islam, or Hinduism, or Buddhism? They all differ in their 'equality' between the sexes, with different, select jobs allocated to each (and 90% of the time women can't involve themselves in politics either).
To be fair, it isn't the worst 'debunking' I've ever heard, but it just isn't thought through 😂

Since when has Christianity been thought to preach equality? Sure many Christians do but I've not heard it pronounced as a tenant of the faith like Bahai's claim to (some even claiming this as one of its unique benefits). Being 1800 years younger, it should go without saying that incongruities in text should be cleared up but in reality, the derivative works are mostly platitudes made to sound profound with grandiose word choice and poor sentence structure.

If this video was in Persian I would leave a very unfriendly comment. I am Iranian and a secular person and mean criticism of religion is one of the most important duties we have. I criticize Christianity and Islam regularly, but never the Baha'i faith. Why?
Because my main reason for my critique is to safeguard people from religion. In Iran today, Baha'is are under extreme oppression by an Islamic regime. So, criticizing the Baha'i faith is helping the regime.
When it is said, I don't know the Baha'i laws that much that I can comment on such issues. But, if this is the only wrongdoing of Baha'is concerning women's rights, I think it is not that big a problem that determines women's rights in the religion.

As I see it, the reason why women can't serve on the UHJ is a purely practical one, and it has to do with motherhood. Service on the UHJ involves a consecration and a workload that the rest of us can't even imagine, and this means that the members of the House do not have much time for family life. If women served on the UHJ then their children would be neglected by their mother, and this would be a very sad situation and unacceptable in the Bahá'í Faith. Also, in the event of childbirth these female members would become unavailable to the House - another unacceptable situation. Since men and women share the same intellectual and spiritual capabilities these problems are completely avoidable by letting the men just do this job on their own. People who wish to 'climb the social ladder' do not belong on the UHJ ( or in the Bahá'í administrative system ) in the first place.

For instance, parents are instructed to favor their daughters when it comes to education. Can you imagine the implications of this if it became universally practiced? The women would take over - and I believe that this is exactly the intention! The only restrictions on women are that they can't serve on the UHJ and in the military. They also told me they are taught to not fight back when someone is challenging their doctrine/faith.Not only that but their doctrine is a spin off of other religions and has several holes. For example, progressive revelation... in their system there are different manifestations of God during different periods of time. Each manifestation is considered by the Bahai's to be appropriate for its time. Well this can't be true because the manifestations believe different things. Moses = ONE personal God, Krishna= mix of polytheism & impersonal pantheism, Zoroaster=religious dualism one good God and one bad God, Buddha= essentially agnostic, Confucius= polytheistic, Muhammad= ONE personal God who can't have a son, Jesus Christ= ONE personal God who does have a son, and Baha'u'llah= God and the universe, which is emanation of God, are co-eternal. This belief implies that the manifestations can contradict themselves or that God's own nature is contradictory, that is, that God is both one God and many gods, that God is both able and not able to have a son, both personal and impersonal, etc...then the Bahai concept of God is reduced to meaninglessness.

      Hi there,
      I hope this helps:
Women are exempt from serving on the Universal House of Justice, not prohibited. Women are also exempt from serving in military, fasting during pregnancy, breastfeeding, and menstruation. (My own reflections from studying the Faith).
      An excerpt:
“As regards the constitution of the House of Justice, Bahá'u'lláh addresses the men. He says: "O ye men of the House of Justice!"
But when its members are to be elected, the right which belongs to women, so far as their voting and their voice is concerned, is indisputable. When the women attain to the ultimate degree of progress, then, according to the exigency of the time and place and their great capacity, they shall obtain extraordinary privileges. Be ye confident on these accounts. His Holiness Bahá'u'lláh has greatly strengthened the cause of women, and the rights and privileges of women is one of the greatest principles of 'Abdu'l-Bahá. Rest ye assured! Ere long the days shall come when the men addressing the women, shall say: 'Blessed are ye! Blessed are ye! Verily ye are worthy of every gift. Verily ye deserve to adorn your heads with the crown of everlasting glory, because in sciences and arts, in virtues and perfections ye shall become equal to man, and as regards tenderness of heart and the abundance of mercy and sympathy ye are superior.”

Dear sir, the members of UHJ are not concidered to be the highest. Individualy they not only show the most humbleness but in fact innerly they feel the most humble. In Bahai religion there is no such thing as ranking within individual Bahai's they are all equal. However there is an exception made on those called the Hands Of The Couse. In ranking they are higher than other Bahai's. Hands Of The Causes were a mix of men and women! Take for example the hand of the couse Ruhiyyih Khanoom. The members of UHJ used to ask her for advise. I can garanty you, if a Bahai would think of climbing high in rank and therefore having ambition to be in UHJ he would never be elected, because being humble means willing to be as dust under the foots of others to serve... I have meny arguments to give but to keep short, let me tell as the last one here, within Bahai religion is the most high en valuble task the task of education, where women are concidered to be honored to be the fist educators of their children. Immagin this law of equal rights to gender was revealed 175 years ago in the most dark place of the earth in Iran where equality of gender was far far to search. Nowhere in the world it was not only not accepted but far from immagination.

You're very naive in thinking that those who rise through to a high "rank", as you put it, are always free of ambition. I have heard with my own ears very active and widely known Baha'is boast in private that they are widely known, have been invited to exclusive events with other high ranked Baha'is, that their photos have appeared in Baha'i publications, that they have been on a stage to play an instrument, have completed many Ruhi books, etc. I've heard widely known Baha'is boast that their new converts will "do anything I tell them to do", while writing letters to institutions to list their accomplishments. I could go on and on. Sadly these are the people who often rise to the top because others are too busy practicing humility, selflessness, and overlooking faults. Sociopaths love the faith.

Thanks for your polite reply. It appears to me that your views however justified from your own personal perspective are mounded by others who may not be as concerned with truth as you yourself are at pains to point out. These other people who share your observations have a less objective aim in mind. They seek to discredit the Baha'i Faith entirely and that is in itself unfortunate as they will never be able to succeed as others in the not too distant past have attempted to do and also failed. A more intellectually honest approach would be to reject the whole religious experience from Judaism to Islam including Christianity because from your particular perspective they have all failed to live up to their own teachings or have elements in their history as equally disturbing if not more so than what you have presumably uncovered in the Bahai Community. It is better to profess no faith at all then to not live up to what your faith demands from you. So why not give up ranting about Baha'i failings and devote your life to something more urgent and important such as climate change, poverty or social injustice?

Dear Dale, while searching for a specific video on The Baha'is today I came across your video platform. I have taken a good look at what you are offering your viewers and am familiar with almost every one of the accusations you are putting forward in order to discredit Baha'i belief. I also maybe surprising to yourself despite being a Baha'i of long standing applaud your attempt at openness and honesty. I also share your disappointment in the way some of these conflicts were dealt with and in some cases hidden from general view. The Baha'i Faith like anything else is subject to human failings as it is essentially composed of humans regardless of any claims to the contrary. However if you were to investigate this faith more thoroughly and in much greater depth you would soon come to realise that despite its own failings it is still the best hope for humanity compared to the alternatives which of course you are now wholly free to investigate. Truth is extremely important as is also equality as you have so eloquently pointed out. I wish you well in your new found freedom. I would also welcome your ideas on what can be done to achieve these high hopes in the future if you ever manage to find the perfect solution which you are still presumably trying to find.

I do not dispute that the Baha'i Faith has done some good in the world; otherwise I would never have become a follower of it in the 1990s. But there is no excuse for tolerating leadership that is simply not legitimate. Baha'u'llah specifically stated that a younger half-brother of Abdu'l-Baha, Muhammad-Ali, would be the successor of his brother. Instead, Abdu'l-Baha disobeyed Baha'u'llah by appointing his grandson Shoghi Effendi to the leadership. Then Shoghi Effendi died without appointing a successor of his own as Abdu'l-Baha commanded. The Universal House of Justice was then set up with no Guardian at its head, something Shoghi Effendi himself said should not happen. More to the point....why didn't Abdu'l-Baha appoint a DAUGHTER after him instead of insisting on a grandSON who was only 21 years old? When only men are allowed to rule a religion, and those men have questionable credentials, we have only hypocrisy. The solution for Baha'is everywhere is to ditch the entire Administrative Order that was built up since the 1920s and start over.......but that is extremely unlikely.

Sounds like you have a lot of holes in history , context and specially about the Will and Testament of Bahá’u’lláh. This issue of women on the UHJ is a test for you just as in the previous dispensation with Noah’s arc or when Mohammad changed the Qiblih was To test the believers in their Faith . How to measure “equality “? What is “power”? God did not make us the same … some blessing were given uniquely to women . For instance; we get to create a new life in our wombs - the bond between an infant and their mother is far superior to a man who was never given that right or privilege . There’s wisdom far beyond a white male’s lens to understand (no offense ) why in this Dispensation, this was the law . Perhaps it has to do with the international relations and responsibilities and reconciling that with motherhood? This is not about electioneering to be on this institution. It’s serve. No one makes money or gains prestige or power from serving of this institution. It must be hard and daunting too. Perhaps it is a burden for men to carry after millennia of injustice they created; Now they are to labor for global justice .. and Because in this Faith there’s promise that this is a Day that shall not be followed by night, there will be always guidance . Perhaps it is even deeper than that and we will understand more in the future…
; It is short sighted to equate this with some sort of a “lie “ ! Please recall Tahirih’s position , Bahiyyeh Khanum, Martha Root and the women Hands of the Cause…. They had authority as individuals. ʻAbdu’l-Bahá put the reigns of leading and building the first Bahai House of Worship In the hands of women, to the surprise and dismay of men. They were given authority.
I wish you well with your spiritual journey and respect your investigative approach. Bahá’u’lláh welcomed that . This is not a Faith of coercion and blind followers

Hi Dale Husband ! As an Investigator of Truth, who participated in Baha'i Faith, including on 3 LSAs, for over 29 years, even tho the book FAITH WITHOUT DOGMA had been my favorite book in high school, and my innate leanings were far more Oriental/Taoist/Buddhist, I had never really Fit, and certain phrases and passages in the Writings felt like thorns in my sides. After reading more David Icke, and then, listening to John Lamb Lash, every day for over a year, I felt I had redeemed my True Self. Actually, it only took me a few weeks for those "thorns" to pop out and away, and my eyes to clear enuf to bow Out of Baha'i Faith,
by formally withdrawing (as a member).
I applaud your excellent use of Logic, and the quality of your presentations. Today, I watched: The Fatal Flaw of Baha'i Authority, Baha'i Scandals...(and one other). I hadn't known all the facts you included,
and appreciate(d) them, very much, agreeing wholeheartedly with your conclusions. THANK You, Dale !
It was the spiritual principle of The Independent Investigation of Truth that had appealed to me enuf for me to have become a Baha'i . (I was born on the Cusp of Sensitivity, the Aquarius-PIsces Cusp, which
Mother Earth, Gaia SOPHIA is on, now; and I Think like an Aquarius. I agree with Alan Watts about that
principle being what makes Faith "a Swim". ) I soon came to discover, however, that Baha'is were expected
to turn to the Writings about everything, and "God forbid" questioning Them, in any way.
The other bits that were like thorns in my sides were the warnings that woe to those of us who think of or experience ourselves as "co-creators"; or who worship Nature; AND, perhaps most of all, the fact that
"Baha'i Faith came 'out of the ground of Islam'", when JLL makes CLEAR the "Islam is The Deal Breaker" !
So, I returned 4 large totes full of Baha'i books to the Baha'is, without even a closure letter to them...or
to Baha'i Nat'l Center, explaining why I was, formally, withdrawing. I FEEL that David Icke is RIGHT to advise humanity to turn away from any religion that says one will fall into the fires of hell if s/he disobeys
"God's" Laws. Like Simon Parkes, I AM Now Clear that I believe in GOD, but not the "God" of the churches.
and I agree and FEEL/THINK that Baha'i Faith IS, indeed, part of the Globalist's NWO Agenda.
Love and Blessings to you, Dale Husband, and All SOPHIA's Luminous Children, who have and exercize the Courage to LOVE TRUTH, and investigate it for themselves in their own ways. Yours in peace,

The answer to the question of why women do not serve on the Universal House of Justice is found in the Kitab-i-Aqdas (The Most Holy Book) revealed by Baha’u’llah in 1873 :
“O ye Men of Justice! Be ye, in the realm of God, shepherds unto His sheep and guard them from the ravening wolves that have appeared in disguise, even as ye would guard your own sons. Thus exhorteth you the Counsellor, the Faithful.”

Your interpretation is interesting and I thought about this exact point and reached the same conclusion for a bit. Until you look a investigate a little further. Then you realize that equal doesn’t mean for same. For example there is a quote where in certain regards women is superior to man.
I think the flaw with you interpretation is that you take the word equal at face value. If it would be equal opportunities, then men could give birth, which they can’t, and bringing forward life is the highest form of worship. So i think that even though you feel like you found a big contradiction or so called lie, i just think that you haven’t investigated enough and considered all the possible aspects. Now if this is the conclusion you reached, great. I’m just shunning a different view as I myself was greatly interested in this matter. Ofcoarse we can theorize about what if and the fact is we have not had many women leaders, and the ones we have have resigned due to stress (new zeland, slovakia etc) maybe that is something that will become clearer as the wider specteum of gender euqality levels out and we might get to see the meaning behind this exact practice

Being a Member of the House of Justice is NOT climbing the social ladder. UHJ is The Institution in itself and not it's members. Members of the House of Justice don't have any power at all and are considered asbany member of the community trying to be a better person each year as individuals. A member of the UHJ can't tell any member of the Faith what to do or what not to do. Only the Institution can say, unlike Priest, Pastors or Mullahs.
And if you truly investigate the history of the Bahá'í faith you'll find that women played a much more important role in the darkest moments of The Bahá'í Fairh and kept the world community united and directed the global efforts to keep teaching and devoloping. From Tahirih, to Bahiyyih Hanum, to Amatul Bahá, to the countless women Counsellors and Auxiliary Board Members, women in The Bahá'í Faith are the driving force in teaching and administrative endeavours. But there is no climbing the social ladder in the culture of The Bahá'í Faith. I can understand your concern but your conclusion is wrong and misleading.

I mean that the men and women are not the same when it comes to body's condition like menstruation. Like for example: If one of the member is women and she was elected. When there is an important meeting or consultation, women are usually do that excuses for sure to be not able to join..
Sir..We are talking here an important role of the Faith as a highest responsibility. And also the House Of Justice was one of Baha'u'llah's Will and Testament in a way of clear election By National Spiritual Assembly.. to protect and guide the Baha'is nowadays.

I don't know what happened to you and the Bahá'ís, but what you say in that infamous video is unfounded. Everything has a reason for being, within the Bahá'í administration there are more women with an important participation than the men themselves; and if you have investigated a little about the Faith, you will know that in it there are no figures of priests, clergymen, pastors, rabbis or any type of leader, since each and every one of us is a participant in the construction of a new world that is divinely ordained thanks to the teachings of God sent through His Holiness Bahà'u'llàh. I can understand there were careful consideration by looking at current state of society. If you really investigated Bahai religion AND because of this you decided it’s a lie then I can just wish you luck! And finally when you see the truth(doesn’t matter what) but choose darkness that’s a “willful refusal”, and that will have existential consequences for you which you can’t escape from (because it’s existential). Given my story (in my videos and blog) as a witness to a Bahai Scandal in Milwaukie Oregon during the late 1970's and 1980's where there were at least 2 familes from multi-generational pedophiles, in the grand scheme of all that's wrong with the Bahai Faith, as weird as the disparity is between men and women's roles and how debatable the word "equality of the sexes" is This is such a non-issue: . . . Women withheld from Universal House of Justice membership is far from the obvious problem: Which is the Bahai's legacy of failing to protect children from abuse, especially sexual abuse. If there was such a thing as true "equality of the sexes" or "gender balance" or whatever: then men and women would be shapeshifting hermaphrodites and transgsenders who could easily decided whether or not they have wide shoulders, narrow hips, a dick and testicles OR wide hips, a fertile womb, pussy, mammary glands as easy as switching on or off a light switch.

    • @christianexbahai

+Al R - His bad language could stem from being abused by a Baha'i pedophile when he was a child. I know from experience that the Baha'i Faith also failed to protect me from a sexually abusive Baha'i man. It probably happens more than you realize, and Assemblies are not equipped to handle these situations - they seem to want to look away and ignore hard facts.
There's a lot of "passing the buck" behavior in Baha'i administration. Auxiliary Board Members will tell you to go to your Local Spiritual Assemblies. These LSA's will refer matters to the National Spiritual Assemblies who will refer matters back to LSA's and in the end there is no protection for those abused by Baha'is, from Baha'i administration.
Moreover, Baha'is are told that we should not ever mention the sins of others and that we shouldn't go to law enforcement because that would affect the reputation of the Baha'i Faith in a negative way. So Baha'is are able to abuse and few people ever realize what's going on.
Anyhow, that's how I experienced it. Baha'i life became a depressing and frustrating experience. I don't miss it at all.

    • @christianexbahai
      @christianexbahai 8 років тому

+Al R ........ don't worry about me, I'll be fine. I'm on the internet writing about the Baha'i Faith because I spent thirty years of my life as a Baha'i and it is time for me to share my information. I do this for Jesus, my Lord and Savior. I know you don't like my decision to tell people what I know about the Baha'i Faith, but I have a responsibility to do this.
Just before I signed the Baha'i declaration card I read a booklet, "Prophecy Fulfilled," by Elizabeth Cheney. It was about Bible prophecies that Baha'is believe are about Baha'u'llah and the Baha'i Faith. My intent it to show that these prophecies are misunderstood by Baha'is. To this end - this week I wrote about the Valley of Achor prophecies: Isaiah 65:10 and Hosea 2:15. christianexbahai.wordpress.com/2015/09/28/bahai-prophecy-isaiah-6510-hosea-215-valley-of-achor-plain-of-sharon/
I'm not doing this out of hate for the Baha'i Faith. I'm actually doing it out of compassion for the people who are deceived by it. I too was deceived by Baha'i - like I said, I was in the religion for thirty years and it took another twelve years to recover, until I could truly say I no longer believed Baha'u'llah was speaking for God.
Now I'm working for Jesus - the Jesus whose physical resurrection isn't believed by Baha'is, whose healing miracles are minimized, whose atonement is ignored, whose offer of salvation is turned away from. He truly is the Lord, and He wants all of us to be saved. This is something that can't be done through Baha'u'llah. I hope someday you will give Jesus a chance . . . so I'm having to explain, one precept, one item at a time. Jesus guides and helps me. Without Him I am nothing.

Some wild claims about equality of sexes in Baha'ism:
One of the most untrue and illogical statements I have ever read:
Abdu'l-Baha: "The male of the animal kingdom does not glory in its being male and superior to the female. In fact, equality exists and is recognized." (`Abdu’l-Bahā, The Promulgation of Universal Peace, p. 470.)
    How equality works in Baha'ism:
1-Women have lowers share of inheritance than men.
2-Women have no share from living residence of deceased.
3-Women get to keep their mother's rags and old clothing but the new ones must be shared with the males.
4-Men have to pay dowry to women but not the other way around.
5-Men can have to wives but women cannot have two husbands.
6-Women cannot be part of the UHJ.
7-Women cannot be a Guardian overseeing the UHJ (matter has been resolved since Abdu'l-Baha's prophecy failed and no guardians exist anymore).
8-Men must perform Baha'i pilgrimage but women have been exempted.
9-Upbringing of children is the chief responsibility of women.
10-Baha'u'llah calls his boys branches and the girls leaves (can't even observe equality amongst his own offspring).
11-Man can take back dowry if woman is not a virgin at marriage, but if a man is not a virgin well then tough luck for the woman and she can't take back nothing.
    12-Women must obey their husbands.

On the other hand, anyone willing to make harsh assumptions without verifying their alleged facts probably won't benefit from such participation. This is often a point of discussion for those learning about the Baha'i Faith, while the word equality is used there are some qualities for which women are seen to be superior to men and Baha'i laws on education give girls priority over boys. While men and women are considered "equal" in the sight of God they still have slightly different roles, and the role of serving on the Universal House of Justice, whose members have no individual power or authority, is explicitly stated to be male only for a reason that will one day become very clear, it is absolutely clear to Baha'is that the reason is not anything to do with an inherent inequality or any notion of men being better suited to the task. In religion some laws are there as a test to our faith and devotion, we may never perceive a reason for them, at least we are promised that humankind will one day recognise a reason for this law.

+Al Fot - Thank you Al for encouraging me not to waste my time, ironically it has made me want to write some more.
I do actually feel that Dale raised a genuine concern here and that he was intending to inform rather that misinform (unlike some of the others who are commenting on this video). This is a law which 'Abdu'l-Baha assures us is "for a wisdom of the Lord God's, which will erelong be made manifest as clearly as the sun at high noon." It essentially has to be taken on faith, understood in the context of many other laws and teachings of the Faith, especially those relating to governance and equality.
Mathematically, equality shows that two sides of an equation which have differing appearances actually have the same value, clearly the Baha'i vision of "full equality" does not dictate for us the same roles, there are several specific examples where men or women might appear favoured over the other, but it states that all human beings, male or female, have equal value and should therefore have "their equal sharing in all rights". While a Baha'i should understand, and believe, that service on any Baha'i institution, including the Universal House of Justice, is not a right, not something to be sought after, and does not bestow any power or authority on an individual, it is reasonable to expect that people will see this as a contradiction to the law of equality, especially if they have a more current perception of administrative roles for individuals as positions of authority. That 'Abdu'l-Baha gave the above assurance acknowledges that this law may be seen as challenging.
Being, ultimately, a matter of Faith we cannot really give any evidence that it is or is not a contradiction, the best we can offer is the example of the extent to which women are serving on all other Baha'i institutions at local, national and international levels.
"The world of humanity has two wings -- one is women and the other men. Not until both wings are equally developed can the bird fly." - 'Abdu'l-Baha

I’m an airline pilot. I have friends that are woman that are airline pilots. Saying a woman cannot be with the universal house of justice because of the period (time of the month is very Islam leaning. To say Bahá’u’lláh was a messenger as Jesus was poses serious questions. Why could he not save one of his children? Why did every defendant become a Covenant Breaker. My mother is a Baha’i. We can’t have a relationship because I am not a Baha’i. I am catholic. I grew up with the Baha’i faith. My mother shuns exactly as the bylaws direct her to. I did not put it all together until I read all the material that is the original history. Bahá’u’lláh had 4 wives three were concurrent yet he teaches one wife at a time. Where was shogi afendi when he was not taking care of his duties. He was a suspected homosexual and they are not allowed in the faith Young people have the tools to find this stuff. It was hidden from me as ‘‘twas the photo of Bahá’u’lláh. To divine to gase at in you home. Give me a break. The picture looks like Charles Manson.

Shoghi Effendi outlined clearly his views on Homosexuality! You should go and read them instead of gaslighting! We all know how the catholic church treats young boys!

Whenever i meet any Bahai , then keep telling me about the (miracle) of their Bahaa, of reciting a book in Arabic in a perfect way... even though it wasn't his mother tongue. Since, Arabic is my native language.. i decided to real Kuds El Aqdas ... I couldn't really find just one sentence that is written without language mistakes ! The funniest one of them was when he said that he challenges all scientists of Arabic Language ... to write a book like his , which already had several mistakes as well !!!! Its really seems weird to me that No one has decided to learn Arabic to read this man has written !! I totally respect everyone's faith and I am not arguing about any details over here ! I am just asking all Bahaai to stop considering this as a miracle ! IT IS NOT ! My 7 years old NIECE wouldn't make such mistakes if she writes a phrase in Arabic !!

Yes and of course Baha-man was around Arabic lifelong. He grew up on the estate of the governor of Iran. (His father was a minister.) He had religious interests and his erstwhile avatar "The Bab" wrote texts in Arabic, which Baha-man obviously was reading. This is just one of the inumerable bull-s--t items with the Baha'i Faith. The list is long, and rather humorous.

Equality and Similarity are two different things. You need to think on it.
Do you want a girl friend that clean shaves just like you ?
Has a half bald head ??
So let natural limits and rule of collective reality be there.

Why would we label an entire religion and Faith a lie based on only one point? Any individual can voice an opinion. Do we know this man’s intent and is he giving enough information? It’s up to those listening to him and to anyone’s opinions for that matter, to be careful of how they view something before doing their own investigation of Truth. There is greater wisdom in why there are only men on the Universal House of Justice and just because of this doesn’t mean that women and men aren’t equal. Women have a higher purpose as mothers as the first educators of children, considered one of the most important services which unfortunately is often unrecognized. But as humanity progresses and matures, people will come to understand and recognize the True Message of Bahá’u’lláh’s Teachings.

But what about the squirrels? They will go extinct. Glory Man instructed his followers to "wear fur of the squirrel and ermine..." It isn't optional. He wanted his people lookin' good! Bad news! My Lord, not much "science" to the Baha'i Faith. The Bab was actually anti-science. Baha'u'llah was anti-combustion engine. When he heard about it he said: 'We have heard that an infernal engine hath been devised. Soon it's fire will consume the cities." (Destroy 'em. And they did.)

your very quick to pass judgment. the bahai administration is in its infancy and many of its facets are not put in place. it is completely possible if not probable that in the future there will be offices at the highest levels that only women can sit in. equal does not mean the same and the goal is unity in diversity. if you ever spent time in any bahai community you would know that women are treated equally with men, respected and valued.

    • @DaleHusband

"the bahai administration is in its infancy and many of its facets are not put in place." That is no excuse for hypocrisy at any period of time.
"it is completely possible if not probable that in the future there will be offices at the highest levels that only women can sit in." Show me a single statement in the Baha'i Writings that says any such thing.
I was a Baha'i for eight years. I know how they operate and I reject it as a waste of time now.

Dale Husband Good answer. I was a Baha'i for decades.
Baha'is should stop saying: "the Baha'i Faith is still in its infancy" . . . it is only an excuse for not being able to do things right.
If they haven't got it right after 150 years, they're not likely ever to be able to.
The idea that some other opportunity will arise for women is like throwing a dog a bone to distract him.

    • @supernalbjj
      @supernalbjj 9 років тому +6

Christian Ex-Baha'i really? so why are you a christian then? there has been alot of rape and murder done in the name of christianity if they havn't got it right in 2014 years , they're not likely ever to be able to. oh and the bible says women should be subservient to men. if inequality is the issue I think youve traded down.

    • @christianexbahai
      @christianexbahai 9 років тому +3

supernalbjj ... thanks for asking ... I'm a Christian because I humbled myself before Jesus and was saved. I never expected to do it, but it happened. A surprise to me and everyone who knew me.
The big difference between Baha'i inequality for women and the Christian inequality is that Baha'is are telling everyone they believe men and women are equal and that's a main tenet of the religion. Well, Christians aren't saying that.
It appears that Baha'is are being hypocritical, saying women are equal, then having a whole different set of laws for women including unequal inheritance.
I thought that hypocrisy was the main point of Dale's video. "Doublespeak" indeed.
By the way, if we were to judge all religions on the actions of their adherents ALL of them would be in trouble. Let's not forget that there have been murders done in the name of Baha'i as well. And lots of them (major bloodshed) in the days of The Bab.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23 ... Christians admit to their sinful nature and seek forgiveness, repent, and are saved.

    • @supernalbjj
      @supernalbjj 9 років тому +3

Christian Ex-Baha'i yet it is written that if you have a male and female child and can only aford education for one its the female that should be educated. ps I say plenty of prayers for forgiveness. if you really think the Bahai's are doing some sort of evil i feel sorry for you. it is the only religion that doesnt have followers organized in its name that infringe on the human rights of others. comparing a few individuals comitting murder to organised war is pretty narrow minded.

Equality is stupid, we should work on fairness. When i travel with my wife you wont ever see her carrying our baggage. I would rather be sweating and shaking before i let her carry anything heavy. But shes good at organizing stuff so she would take care of planning our vacation. Do what youre good at and do what you know your partner doesn’t like doing. I know my wife doesn’t like finance stuff, i also hate it but i dont tell her because i dont want her to do stuff she doesn’t like and also not worry about me having to take care of it if i hate it. Thats what islam taught us. She burned the food or put too much salt? You still tell her its amazing and you love it. We all should start with our own wifes. They are our queens and deserve the best

There is an interesting instruction (law) in the Baha'i "Book Of Laws." It concerns a ritual a guy and his wife/wives are supposed to do while traveling. It appears to refer to taking a certain position, like a sitting position (like a mudra?) and it has a separate instruction for "the women" to do at that time. I highly recommend the Elder-Miller translation of The Kitab-i-Aqdas. It doesn't have all the clever word tricks and distortions the Haifa sect created. The original Aqdas is a very short book, only 74 pages in the Elder-Miller translation. It ballooned to 315 pages in the Haifa/Wilmette version! Because of all the crap they added to it trying to explain it away.
