But there is a plot twist we are travelling around Poland during corona, so we will see what Poland is like during this time. The Polish road trip will take us to some of the best places across Poland like Kraków, Gdańsk, Wrocław and Poznań to name but a few.

Guys, you missed Malbork Castle ( Marienburg ). The biggest brick castle in the whole world, builld in XIII century. It is Unesco World Heritage Site. You have to see it next time. Regards.

Częstochowa, litteraly translates as "often hidding", it goes back to medieval times, when people were traveling from Kraków via main road, it went through a hilly terrain, that's why Częstochowa played with you a little "peekaboo".
I really like the size of the handicap parking at that rest area. In Canada and the U.S.A they are a lot smaller. My father was in a wheel chair and it made it very difficult to get him in and out of the vehicle because of the size of the parking spots.

So sorry that all foods was closed. You can just always ask random people and you will find place to eat in private home I bet someone will let you in. For sure I would do that. If you will be in Poland again you can eat and speep in Kalisz if you want to at my flat I am inviting you. I am not from this city so I will not be your guide at local atractions but it can be just a place for a brake :)

I'm from Scotland, I went to Bydgoszcz for a summer holiday last year, it was so hot!!! Great city. Because of my Scottish accent I pronounce it Bid-goshch.

Interesting fact: Black Madonna became a main goddess in voo-doo religion. It was because of the polish soldiers who served Napoleon in Haiti. They were taken prisoner, and many of them had a picture of Black Madonna. However, they were not killed, because the locals recognized, that there's something special in white men who pray to black woman. Now Black Madonna is called Erzuelie Dantor in voo-doo religion. You'll recognize her by the two scars on her cheek, just like Black Madonna.

Hi lads, I came accross your videos as I became interested in the opinions foreigners have about Poland when they visit my country. There are different styles - some focus on landscape, some on food, some on places to visit. Yours is a bit of everything, dynamic & natural.
I noticed that you are struggling with the pronounciation of Polish words. I know that they are difficult and you will never be able to pronunce it perfectly. But I think you could spend a few minutes before each recording to check the pronuanciation of words that you will use in the coming episode (like city name, food) by pasting the Polish word into google translator and pressing the speaker button. You could also write it down to have it ready when you do the recording. That's how I do it learning languages. For example Jasna Góra would be Yassna Gurah or something like this. They way you pronounced it and some other words was terrible :)

Czestochowa is not the best city to visit unless you're religious person. I think stopping in Lodz would be better idea. It can be quite rundown city but has beautiful and interesting sites as well.
