TheFarmerfitz We always remove it before we feed or put down bedding. It’s kind of a pain but much easier then removing it from the inside of the machine. If you’re thinking of getting a haybuster I can tell we will probably never buy anything but a haybuster. They are great machines and very well made. We’ve ran them for decades.
@@Cattleman0311 late replying, but I find it extremely easy to remove from the rotor. Some use a torch, but they have like an electric branding iron knife thing, just cuts through quickly.
What happens to the net wrap/twine? Does that have to be removed first or does the machine do it?

@@Cattleman0311 Vermeer is virtually the same design, but the fix the faults with haybutser, and the change more things between models.
