wondered how to make a main menu in roblox studio? or how to create a shop which has working GUI? ive made lots of 2024 roblox scripting tutorials about all the different bits of roblox to give you some up-to-date information about all of its properties and events.
my goal is to simply give some insight on how to use the various features and instances roblox studio, and show you some fun stuff you can do with them. thanks for checking out this roblox scripting tutorial :)

Hackers cannot view server scripts, Roblox doesn't need to send code from a Server script to the client, although they can view Localscripts because Roblox needs to send that data to the client so the client can run the client sided code for the game. Anything on the client can be viewed, and modified with enough reverse engineering, but anything hosted on a server is a whole different story.

The thing that allows you to see the scripts / parts in a game is dark dex and this program terrorized Roblox because it single handedly was one of the best tools for any exploit scripter
how? it didnt let you do anything you couldnt already do, it just organized it for you.
dark dex still exists, you can't view scripts in it without a decompiler but other than that it is fully functional still.

@@balls5823 yea, thats what makes it so powerful. a gui on the side which organizes every single object in the game is and its name. it helps alot with making the scripts

I personally like videos like these, yeah I enjoy your videos with you doing random weird stuff in studio, but not as much as stuff that I could genuinely use in games, things that will be helpful for me as a developer and also fun, like your first dozen videos. Also I never got unbanned 😭🙏🏾

exploiters cant view server scripts
2:15 actually, all movement is calculated on the client if im not mistaken, and there are no default security roblox checks for this. the client simply sends their position and animation to the server.
An interesting method i saw is that if it detects an unfamiliar GUI, it instantly kicks you! (Ocean Terror)
I never knew exploits actually make GUIs appear in-game
that method can go undetected, as exploits can just use coregui instead of playergui

@@verachez5319 it's the gui that roblox itself uses... the reset button, leave button, player menu, player list, and backpack all fall under CoreGUI. You can't Acess coregui via server scripts unless they are running at a command bar or plugin level, most executors are able to access coregui however.

@@treeoffrozen2039 Exactly, why would you paste your script from ServerScriptStorage?! There are packets for that which should be a ton faster (Remote Event) it literally less than 10 lines to write a Client-Server call and implement your logic on the server.

We know the exploit stoppers work, but what about alts, what if we want to make sure they can't exploit from alts, is there a way to ban their device from playing or their network?

FUN FACT, this is WRONG exploits CAN view the SERVER storage for script and normal HOWEVER they cant view the contents of SERVER scripts local scripts they can ( i know this as i am an exploit developer so the best way to do it is create the part or whatever in a SERVER script
exploits cannot view server storage because the server sided items inside those containers do not get replicated to the player.
nothing in server storage is replicated to the client, that's what replicated storage is for.
Here's my take on your unorganized message. Filtering Enabled is now false, meaning no content is streamed from the client to the server, as for the server to client scenario, ServerStorage is not replicated by the server, Client scripts can still use ServerStorage but no content provided by the server will exist there, Creating a part in a Server script will not make the part safe, the name, position, etc, all the properties of the part can be accessed by an exploiter, unless, it is protected behind a unreplicated object, aka, Don't make a part. or, make the part in a server only location, such as. ServerStorage.
Creating a part to store data is not only unpractical but uses extra data.
NO CLIENT CAN VIEW SERVER STORAGE.
I am also a exploiter.
but you do know that even with third party tools it is impossible to view server scripts right? it is safe to put your script inside the door instead of serverscriptservice

im not that good at scripting but by my knowledge this isnt possible, but you could run code gotten from a website like pastebin which is secured
I havent hopped in roblox studio in a while and i dont think roblox has a way to deobfuscate the code
seems like people in the thread dont know how obfuscating works. but obfuscating clientsided code is really not worth it, it can cause performance issues and it can **always** be deobfuscated. there's too many people out there that have too much time on their hands and very dedicated to deobfuscating code. it's not something worth doing.
@@masonoperamasonopareIt is. Obfuscation is possible, but unfortunately can be reversed engineered in a few minutes if you use a bad obfuscator. It also causes lag spikes on lower end devices.

Like, ive remembered that 200 online game called murim cultivation from 2 years ago and there was an exploit that allowed you to drop 999999 of items via firing remote event, an then you can pick them up from another account. I thought of how could i fixed that and the idea of passwords came to my mind. The only issue is how to hide that on the client side
