Dream Car Hacking Secrets: How You Can Afford A Lamborghini

  • For the longest time, consumers have been taught to focus on car affordability based on car payment. People who understand finance understand that you must look at the overall total cost of ownership to determine what your true cost is. While a Honda might have a cheaper, more attractive, monthly payment, the depreciation over its lifespan will bring your $30k purchase down to $0 at some point. Whereas an exotic, when hacked using our strategies, can actually hold or increase its value during your ownership. This means that when you buy the right cars, you are actually investing in the asset and parking your money in it with the possibility of it actually increasing than sitting dormant. You don't even need to buy $100k exotics either, this works for cars as low as $30k using our strategies.

    Completely understood but the only actual “ HONDA” that is actually going up is the NSX , yes it’s an ACURA, but the engine, when you open it does say HONDA. I completely agree with you either way. It’s the concept people don’t understand. That’s why I always buy my use car for $1000-$3000 and drive it for 5 years + because it’s already had hit ROCK BOTTOM VALUE and I’m saving still with all my profit my rentals and daytime job until I get my 6 speed MURCIELAGO. Thanks PJ , also I bought my NSX for $30k 7 years ago as an investment and now it’s worth about $50k-$70k market value.

  • @jackp-j1041
    @jackp-j1041 3 роки тому

    Okay so why not buy the honda when its 1 year old? Or 3, or 8? If you buy an exotic at the bottom of its depreciation curve, you will spend LOTS fixing it. And no amount of "mindset" will make a lambo cheaper than a civic, unless you manufactur a purchasing environment that is so crap for the normal car.

    • @ExoticCarHacks
      @ExoticCarHacks  3 роки тому +1

      If all you did was buy used you'd save thousands, but you'd still lose on a Honda. The rest of your comment is spoken like someone who has never owned an exotic. Buying a modern exotic at the bottom of the depreciation curve will not crush you on maintenance if you buy the right car and do your due diligence, as I teach in my course. I've never had a catastrophic failure over 140+ exotic cars.

      @@ExoticCarHacks well you wouldnt if you never drove the cars... I do 20k miles a year so ive got a diesel shitbox. Fuel is also about $8 per gallon here, so just tell me exactly how that 2006 gallado would save me money in the long run?

    • @ExoticCarHacks
      @ExoticCarHacks  3 роки тому +1

      @@jackp-j1041 If you drive 20k/year it wouldn't. you buy a used shitbox for $2k to eat miles and then have a Gallardo as your fun car that you drive occasionally which wings up being free IF you buy it right. So you still can drive to work or whatever and you have a free Lambo in the meantime. Best of both worlds.

    Would this idea still hold up when buying that same Honda used at $17,000? Thanks

    • @curtissouth916
      @curtissouth916 3 роки тому +4

      You can still buy the Honda for a good deal and turn it around to sell for the same price. You can do that with anything. But the depreciation of non-exotics are different than normal vehicles. Normal cars sell at MSRP and depreciate year over year until they are worthless. Exotics don’t. They hit a value bottom and then hold that value for years, or start to appreciate in value. If you can buy at that bottom you can drive the car for “free”. Free meaning you sell it for what you pay for it or more and get your money back on the sell.

    • @marcos45923
      @marcos45923 3 роки тому +6

      @@curtissouth916 True, but what would make more sense, financially, would be to invest that $100k in something that can give better profit margins instead of having your money "on hold" for a car. But, if you're already wealthy, I can see this being a good strategy for sure.

    • @curtissouth916
      @curtissouth916 3 роки тому +2

      @@marcos45923 for sure. You are not wrong. Preferably you are not stuck in the “either or” dilemma. If you are, you probably should not be buying an exotic car. I am not rich (yet) but I had a Z06 that was paid for. I sold it for about $40k and used that money to buy an Audi R8. I used the $40k for down payment, taxes, shipping,title, and then made my monthly payments from that pot of money. I was able to own the R8 for a full year without ever going over that $40k. I sold the car for $2k more than I paid for it. After all said and done I was out what amounted to about $350 a month. That is cheaper than most people can lease a civic for. But I drove a V10 manual exotic instead. I never stopped my investments in stocks. I would highly recommend to anyone that investing in retirement MUST come first. Then if you have extra, have fun with it smartly. On the prowl for another car now. Using the same pot of money...

    Even if the exotic stayed the same or appreciated in value, the buyer would still have to afford the payment, insurance and maintenance. Technically the Honda is easier to afford for your so called ‘poor’ buyer. P.S., I just sold my 2019 Civic Type R for more than I paid for it. And I’m far from poor 😎.
