    Im binging on your videos of this house build. I wonder, the “plaster,” is it made from mud or is it store bought? In USA, it looks like stucco finish that would go over blocks.
    Thx! 😊

    In our indian village we used cow dung mud and rice straw cutting for floor making with some lime powder which helps our body to get earthing

    What are you using to plaster the inner &outer walls?

    • @ethan-kb5jp
      @ethan-kb5jp 11 місяців тому

      Idk but I would use animal dung mixed with clay and sand for the outer plaster and you can buy something for the inside or do the same

      One of our videos shows the mix. Tapioca flour with cooking oil boiled together. Then mixed with fine mud.

    Sir do you mix cement or any other sticky material in mud?please answer.

    • @OurLand
      @OurLand  2 роки тому +2

      Hi Horpam , it can be done if you want to strengthen the mud brick. Usually 5to 10% mix of cement is used by many builders. But in our case we used only mud and rice husk. The clay content in our mud was high enough. The cement is used mainly when you want to use the brick somewhere that is exposed to the rain and sun. In our case all the bricks are under roof cover and also the plaster of mud and tapioca flour mixed with cooking oil make sure that it is also water resistant.
