I was curious about Alien so I sprayed some on a test strip at Ulta. At first I found it overpowering and could not imagine what all the fuss was about. I left the test strip lying on a dresser in my bedroom, and after a day or so it evolved into the most gorgeous scent. I'm sure this would have happened faster on the skin. I am now saving up to buy a bottle!
You're like me. When I first smelt Alien I thought it was too strong but when it dried down I was hooked. Today its my favourite perfume.
@@Max865- You may have gotten a bad bottle or a fake because Alien is beast mode and an extremely powerful fragrance, overwhelming if using more than a spray or two.
@@Max865- That is crazy! For myself, it is overpowering after just 2 sprays..so much so, I have to wait a couple of hours for it to dissipate a little before leaving the house. Be careful in not over spraying as others will will absolutely smell the fragrance. When I first bought Baccarat Rouge 540, I choked people out as I kept topping it off when I was unable to smell it on myself, yet others picked up the sillage from city blocks. Lol
Great video! I’m wearing original Alien right now and I love it. I know you’ve said in the past that way too many people wear Alien. It’s funny because where I live I don’t know a single person who wears it and I’ve never smelled it even ONCE out in public. Instead everyone where I live wears Black Opium and Lancôme La Vie Est Belle...I smell those everywhere.

You could talk about Alien for the entire life and I'll not be bored...because I'm addicted to this perfume too!! But as you said in another video, I stopped wearing Alien because, unfortunately, literally everyone around me smells like that and became so common. But I still love the scent💞 Also, you should try Alien Flora Futura, it's a nice flanker.

Alien is love, Alien is life! The Musc one is my favourite flanker. I get so many compliments with it and I feel so good wearing it! Still the original is unbeatable!

Alien is my go to. My favourite of all times! It's just me! Not sweet, not strong, not to loud, just beautiful! If a perfume becomes one with your skin, this is it! I love it!
I love to smell and even own "all-time" perfumes of every era...even if they are loud and obnoxious....it is like time traveling to a different era, and understanding why it was so popular during that time...I also like to check out the music/movies/fashion during such times to truly grasp such era. My mom loved White Shoulders by Evyan (came out in the 1940's) and really picked up popularity in the 80's...but yeah, I am obsessed with fragrances....and makeup! But having my twins really took me out of the fashion loop for a while, until finally I am starting to get my figure back :) I just graduated with my masters degree...and I picked up my obsession with perfumes...call it bored, but it is something to do :) Another thing I have picked up on again - is astrology...I am a Virgo-Snake

I originally went to Ulta to purchase Libre but after watching some of your videos I purchased Alien instead. They had a travel size so it was a safe blind buy. I love it so much I already purchased a larger sized anniversary bottle with the original formula.
I’ve just tried Alien original and Alien Eau Extraordinaire. Both are now my favourites!! And you are right about Olympea smelling like a crowdpleaser but there is no uniqeness like Thierry Mugler!

Great video! I followed along and you were very easy to understand. I can imagine the smells you spoke of. Thank you! I fell in love with alien original edp in 2016; every time I wore it, everyone noticed and complimented and asked about it, and it was my first and only signature. I ran out and just tried the alien original edp in 2021...but it’s missing something. Missing depth or woodsiness. I will get some samples of essence absolue, musk, and oud first before buying the original again!

Now, on to the Alien flankers. I thought the original Angel was too strong; however, I love Alien and most Alien flankers. I've purchased: Alien Essence Absolu, Alien Extraordinaire, Alien Fusion, and Alien Liqueur. There are 2 other Alien flankers I've bought, but their names escape me.
Thierry Mugler's fragrances are unlike no other. I've also purchased Angel and its flankers: Angel Croisièr, Ange Eau Sucrèe.

my favorites are the original alien and essence absolue! i cant decide between these two! im so in love with them🤤 but if i were them too often i get bored and sometimes i cant even smell them because u dont have this "wow" effect like in the beginning! so i need a little break
So far my favorite is the Essence Absolue! I hear that the taste of fragrance is similar but better, but I haven't been able to find it..
Alien Liqueur de Parfum is similar too.

I think I prefer Alien Fusion over the original and I never thought I would say that because I love the original but mostly because it's a much brighter, yes "solar" quality to it! And Alien Eau Extraordinaire I wear a lot during summer because it's like Alien mixed with D&G Light Blue! I wear it to work a lot
I just purchased the original and I'm absolutely in love. This perfume seems to have been made for me: moody, mysterious, subtly seductive... it's me! And I do agree that it is very noticable and seductive or as you'd say "obnoxious" lol. However there is something in there that says "come and get me but be careful. I might actually bite lol. Or proceed at your own risk!" 😜
I seem to smell ginger in it though and I know it's not listed in there. Anyone else smell ginger?

Alien EA changing color seems to happen to a lot of people including myself, right after I bought it. The scent becomes a bit deeper, too. I don´t think it´s due to the perfume expiring but rather the ingredients (vanillin) that naturally darken over time... :)

For me Alien oud ist much sweeter than the classic one and its much softer ,i love this flanker , dont have and dont like the classic one much,but i bought the oud Majestic now ❤❤❤but yes the lasting Power is not as good as the normal Alien .
