Hi Mick great video! Your carb issue could purely be down to the cold weather we’ve had recently. I’ve had to stick mine out in the sun for half and hour or so and even pre-heat the spark plug to get it to run well in the winter months.
Great you got your new baby started. She shouldn’t be too Smokey with the Semi-Synthetic low smoke low ash. These new 2 stroke oils Semi-Synthetic are confusing when it comes to mixing ratios adJustin’s to the oil. In Australia our Victa 2 Stroke mowers ran on 25:1 with mineral oil.
