This is a brilliant little gadget and very accurate on the flat but I hill walk so you may have to perform a small adjustment in your head as we do not walk the same on hills as we do on a flat pavement as this works on stride length. I have been carrying it for a while on my walks and it was worked very well. I just pop it into my bag and away I go. It has not let me down yet. Also I had a few questions before I bought as in does it matter about keeping it at a certain angle and the answer is no and excellent customer service too from Lee.
Thanks for the feedback, really appreciated and good to hear you like the pedometer. - Also thanks for the tip, yes if you do a lot of hill walking, you can adjust your stride length setting to be slightly shorter to compensate for the smaller strides taken when walking on the flat. - Also if you run with the pedometer you need to increase the stride length setting.
- The stride length setting is used to calculate the distance walked based on the number of steps recorded.

This is a great product but please can you tell me how to pause or halt the counter on the pedometer when travelling in the car, so as to accurately measure personal movement before and after a journey? thanks :)

Pls kindly tell me wts the difference in two i started pwdometer in the morning afyer setting it up in steps mode its showing less then the total steps whts the difference..?
Glad to hear the pedometer arrived quickly.
Step mode = your steps for the day
Total steps = total number of steps since it was last zeroed, eg. this could be for the week
The steps for the day automatically resets to zero at midnight and then stores the days steps in the memory, so make sure the time is set to the correct am / pm - otherwise it will reset the day steps to 0 at midday instead of midnight if it is on the wrong am / pm.

Great video, just one thing what is the procedure, for clearing the days data, to bring all back to zero again.
+Russ Stevens Hello, if you set the time correctly it will automatically zero the days data and store it in memory when it reaches midnight. If you want to zero the data in the middle of the day here is how to do that:

Is there an option to stop the LED/sound when you have reached your goal?- this could work to your disadvantage if you were working or in a situation that requires you to be quiet.
GoOdTaStE2123 There isn't an option to turn off the LED/sound. If you are in a work situation your other option is to increase your target goal slightly so that you will not achieve it while in a work situation, thanks

Is there a way to disconnect the sleep function?

I love my pedometer. My mode button seems to not be working or stuck. What can I do? I have taken the battery out, put a new one in, reset it and still, the mode is not working or stuck. Can I buy another pedometer just like this one? I have had it for over 1 year now and just love it. I use {IN.}, not CM. I walk 10 ft. that's 120 steps. It shows an extra 5 steps on it when I stop. So can you please tell me how I should set that part. I've read the manual, {pg.15} I for some reason cannot comprehend so your help would be appreciated very much. I need a lanyard too. Can you purchase a long one? I didn't receive one in the box when I purchased it. Also, Where can I purchase a clear plastic cover like the one that was on it so the face doesn't become scratched? I do hope you reply asap, please. I use my pedometer all the time. The clip is very strong. I have to use a butter knife to pop it off. There's NO removing that bugger with just your hands lol.

Hi, can you wear this on a lanyard around your neck and still yet accurate results? Many thanks
Hello, yes some customers do wear it on a lanyard around the neck and they have had good results. But, for the most accurate tracking we would recommend clipping it to your hip, or inside your pocket. If you use the lanyard around the neck make sure that it does not bounce around or swing, for instance place it underneath a tee-shirt or jumper so it is prevented from excessive movement and clings to your body and it should be able to track your steps ok.

PS. - The pedometer comes with a short security strap (not a neck lanyard) - this is for extra security of looping it around a belt as well as using the clip, or to tie it to a bag etc.
That's really helpful, thank you. The trouble I've had trying to find a pedometer is that my work uniform doesn't have a waistband or pockets and as I already wear a watch, I'm not keen on wearing another wrist based item, so I'm limited. when you moved the pedometer with your hand, just 5 times, it jumped 20 steps, why is that?

Hello, you can't turn it off. It automatically goes to sleep if you have not been using it for a certain amount of time and then will automatically wake and start counting steps when you start moving, thanks
Hi i have done a test on the pedometer and it is stuck. ....i asked for refund but if you cud send me a proper one ..i wouldnt mind a replacement as i really needed a good pedometer and vhose this one on reading plenty of good reviews.
