I love coming back to my homeland and seeing the numerous new constructions, renovations, and expansions. In another 10-20 years, it will look even more dynamic. The Philippines is one of the very few countries with a strong economy that is forecasted to keep the bullish momentum for at least the next 20 years and by then Metro Manila's landscape will be even more dramatic! I grew up there as a kid. My parents were born and raised there.my dad lived in Pasig city and my mom lave near Zamboanga a part in the philipines but my mom and dad can speak Filipino Chavacano bisaya, etc Tagalog.
This just proves that Manila is more than just slums, chaos and traffic. Kudos for showing the aesthetic and authentic feel of the city. I particularly love the contrast between the old Manila (Intramuros) and the towering glass skyscrapers. Never seen Manila this HD before. Hands down.
Manila would look better if the colonial architecture wasn't just inside Intramuros. Mixing the city with colonial buildings and towering glass skyscrapers would definitely look great.

The puppet government (Commonwealth) can't do much then. edit: (Correction) The Spanish sold our country to the Americans after the Spanish-American War. We Filipinos resisted, that led to the Philippine-American War. We could've won the war but due to complications within our government, we lost. The First Republic was changed to a Commonwealth.

Manila Bay never looked this clean. Love the drone shots. I hope you included Bonifacio Global City area, but anyway, Kudos tot his great travel video.
Manila bay will never be same when I was young is now dirty and full of Garbage. Before they build the Convention center and Folks Art Theater it's used to be a break water that I can walk the water clean and cleared like in Boracay and you can see some tropical fish. 😣😢
Manila may not be as clean or progressive compared to its asian major cities, but it has full of character and the people are friendly. Thank you George . Love the video

Had seen video of Manila by a tourist who spent a day & one night. comment was it's like India, shows video along the road from MIA to the Mall of Asia. It does look like India. you captured most of Manilas corners, they are not even the tourist spot, yet it's all beautiful. People doing the everyday scenes as life goes on, very natural.
