I love hearing you teaching and showing everything step by step from the start! I wish I'd found you when I started. You're the first person I send people to now to make sure they learn that everything about this should be fun and uniquely your own. xoxo I adore this, and now need to make my own ledger papers! xoxo
💜💜💜 I started out about 15 years ago making greeting cards. I have never really wanted to make journals but I have incorporated many, many techniques that come from all of you “junk journal” ladies in my cards. Thank you for your time and I love getting new ideas and different media techniques.
I am one of those people who have come from card making but I just want to say how much I love the freedom that junk journaling allows when making ephemera and decorating pages. I have learnt so much from watching you and Barbara and I am so grateful you are so willing to share your talents.
I love how you do the gold splatters in honor of Barbara & yet make it your own! You share some great wisdom about trying new mediums to figure out what you like/dislike. Thanks again!
Luise, we don't "like your stuff" we LOVE your stuff!! Who would have thought that I would ever need my old accounting ledgers from college? Sadly, I threw all of it out in the trash one day long ago. 🥲 Thank you again for sharing your wonderful talent with all of us.💞💞
Luise, you are truly an incredible artist. Not a lot of junk journalers can do what you do. Love watching you and love your enthusiasm! keep on going, I do appreciate how wonderful you are when you give us freebies! I love Barbara too!
WOW Luise…..your ledger paper is AMAZING ❤️ and when you present a new letter you make me smile 😊. This dephemerember is soooo fun….you and Barbara are the way I start my day 👍🏻
I am so Impressed with how much effort you are going to to make for the most part your own pieces of each project rather than to just use ephemera that you have on hand, which would be so much easier. It definitely shows others that you don’t need to purchase EVERYTHING, but can make your own which is more beautiful.
I think that Oxide Inks are the most versatile crafters product ever. You successfully created vintage ledger just like the original. The whole project is just amazing❤
wOW! i just LOVE that pad of ledger paper and fabric, it is so full of yummy grunginess!! It looks like something from a museum, you know, like an artifact! Just beautiful!! And thank you again for sharing a piece of it with us to play with!!
Wow, love the hand made ledger. Very clever. I was amazed you used a button and the top of the glue stick to add markings to your ledger . Makes it look aged . Everything you did was perfect. Great addition to your journal. Love the gold splatters.
LOVE your vintage ledger paper!!!!!! Also, I love the little booklet you made with it!!!!! Your ledger paper is so REAL!!! I never would have thought to have tried to make it look like that!!! Thank you so much for the printable!!!!!!!
Well done Luise. You have taken much of your time to show others how to experiment and challenge themselves to try out new ideas and techniques. Also important are your thoughts for new crafters who do not have many supplies. The best teachers not only inspire and encourage but have ideas to show different ways to get results. We appreciate you for your creative artistry and for your genuine desire to include others in your joy of journaling so that they can experience that happiness too. Thank you.
I love what you have done. A regular journal like the ones you buy are boring. This way is different and eunique. Loved your explanations. I'm learning a lot and you can make these your own creations. Thanks so much for sharing this and for your inspiration.👍😊🤗🤗
I love the stuff you and Barbara are making. I had a different style but since I’be been watching this collaboration, I’ve started liking your style also
"You will love it and you'll do it for the rest of your life or you will hate it and never do it again" Luise its so true!😂😂😂 Btw you've done such a gorgeous job! Now even l am going to make my own ledger paper😄thank you Luise for the idea!
I absolutely adore this ledger paper pad!! How unique..... the colors, your writing style, and lines make it just perfect. I love everything that you and Barbara have made! The prompts are awesome! It has so helped me this month as I am far away from home helping my sister after surgery. No crafting for me now but I feel I have many ideas to try soon and your videos have helped me as I miss my crafting time! Thank you so much!!!!
I am always so impressed upon watching your videos. You are such a accomplished person overall & the fact that you take the time & GREAT effort to share that gift with others speaks volumes of who you are as a person. Thank you for your generosity, hard working character & sharing your talented artistic nature. God bless you honey!
I really love to see you make a larger page it was very clever and interesting I would never have thought of doing that at all but I will be tonight Thank you Louise you are so gifted .....I will try my best to do this xxx
I'm finally caught up on each day between the both of You and Barbara, been busy with Christmas Parties and got One more to go this Sunday with the Grandkids. Your projects are just amazing! And the Freebies - ❤️..... Thank You so much!!🤗

So super cool…you are so inspiring….I always stop too soon with the grunging…love this project with you and Barbara…my fun for the day watching you two create❤️☃️🎄hugs from Minnesota ❄️
I recently discovered your channel. I appreciate the careful and humorous way you explain things. You offer just the right amount of detail and rationale for me. Many thanks!
Love it 💕 I believe the distressing and grunginess of this ledger paper happened because the employee saw that there was evidence of his crime written on the page, so he tore it out of the the book, intending to destroy it. However he shoved it into his jacket pocket, which was stolen and then dumped into an abandoned building where it picked up all the dirt and moisture. Yes that is what I believe lol🤣🤣🤣
I absolutely love it and I love all of your work you’re so very talented and I’m following you and 49 dragonflies you both are two very talented wonderful amazing artist that are willing to share thank you so much! Lol. Yea. I’m one of those traditional scrapbook or card makers for 20 years haven’t done it for 10 and I want to jump into junk journaling and I thank you so much for all your inspiration. There seems to be so much more freedom to be who you are and create what’s inside and I love that thank you again! Annette 🤗😘🤗
Oh wow! This turned out so wonderful. Thank you for showing how to do things. I am a newbie to grunge, so it is helpful to see exactly how you do things. And I appreciated your little lesson on doing things when you are new to it. Also thank you so much for the digitals you are sharing.
Luise: amazing what you did with that new/ old ledger paper. Additionally, you did a nice job of explaining about how to attempt to get into junk journaling, if you are hesitant to do so. It can be a bit intimidating when you first start and make your junk journals. Excellent job on both accounts. Carol from California
Hi Louise, This is the first video of yours that I have seen and I enjoyed every minute. So much fun and the little notebook is magic. Merry Christmas 🎁🎄
Love the homemade ledger paper and how you turned it into a book. I love grunging up paper like that. Tiny rips and rolling the edges, and wrinkles with ink is so satisfying in the end.
Your philosophical speech made sense to me. I believe you’re saying to try all the techniques that you see in these videos so you can find out if you like them and want to keep using them in the future. On my journey of doing mixed media I’ve learned to let go and just try things. And if I don’t like it I can always redo it or make it into something else. If you don’t experience a technique for yourself you’ll never know if you like it or not.
You are so generous to spoil us with all the freebies. Thank you so much. By the way, I did go to your Etsy shop and purchased some of your digitals. They are brilliant. Thank you so much. 🥰🥰
Ledger papers can be expensive so I'll be doing this! It's a great excuse to use my fountain pen too. Lol i need a bigger piece of paper for your letters I'm running out of space 🙊. Oh thank you for the freebie! Lol Barbara has me addicted to gold splatter too 😄. i love this 😍. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖
