It depends on what product you are designing. SketchUp will be better if the product you design is architectural. SketchUp has a large library of models specifically for architectural design. Shapr3D would be great to use to design mechanical products. Although you can use it for architectural drawing, this software is not built for that. If only considering the experience of using these software on iPad, Sharp3D is actually more optimized than SketchUp.
