I’m 22, been a die hard oil fan since I can remember. I was lucky enough to be there at game 6. ONE OF THE GREATEST DAYS OF MY LIFE. NO CLUB,PARTY,HOLIDAY OR BIRTHDAY COULD EVER MATCH OR REPLICATE THAT EXPERIENCE.
My Friends Kid has grad scheduled for 6pm on Monday. Was happy and cursing the win at the same time.

Oilers Depth is coming through.
That's the difference. Sure you need skill to even get you into the playoffs because 82 games is a massive grind. But you need depth and you need everyone pulling on the same rope. Oilers have been playing a complete team game top to bottom.
Hard to build that with so much money up top and guys not digging in and pulling together. You have to remember McDavid Draisaitl Nuge and Hyman make $31.6 million combined.
Mathews Nylander Tavares and Marner make $46.65. Harder to build depth around that. And doesn't seem like the leadership group can pull in the same direction themselves nevermind lead the rest of the team to buy in.
Maybe if the can move out Marner they can get some depth and maybe a veteran leader to help instill that mentality?
