@@GroundControlRC I have received my Z55 and happen to have a proper set of 75mm props to fit the Z55 motors, since you have more experience with these small aircraft what is your opinion?
@@Philc40 It seems to have decent power with the stock props.
I do like to experiment with different props to see if they provide better performance.
I don't know what the amp rating is of the stock ESC so there's always a chance of burning up the ESC with larger props.
You never know until you test.

Awesome little flier👍🏻 i just got my flybear and after putting it together everything works great however when sitting flat on the table my right aileron comes up and left goes down when i put it in 3d mode🤔 but they seem fine and level off in 6g mode i have the rtf version and even when i straighten them out with radio they slowly start moving again lol did this happen to you with yours?
Yes, hard to believe a 3CH flies that well.
Yes, the gyro seems to do some weird things on the ground but worked great in the air.
Mine would kick the rudder all the way to one side so I just knew it was going to boomerang on me when I launched it but worked just fine.
I'd test it with a ground takeoff 1st just to be on the safe side.
@GroundControlRC lol my rudder also does the same well at least I now have more confidence 🤣 I wanted to got out today but a little too windy especially with the gyro acting like that looking forward to putting it in the air now 👍🏼🤞🏼😁 I now have 2 great fliers thanks to you man🙏🏼✌🏽
What props does this use? Is it 55mm props? Any benefits to using bigger props like 65 or 75mm?
Yes, they do look like 55mm props.
You might be able to use 65mm props as with the amount of flight time it gets the motors don't seem to be pulling much in the way of Amps.
That may provide a bit more power and speed while sacrificing a bit of flight time.
I don't know what the rating is of the ESC as far as Amps.
@GroundControlRC Interestingly switching to 65mm Props made the glider struggle to fly. I need to mess around with it more but it could be that the pusher prop design favors faster spinning smaller props over bigger. I assume it has to do with drag which pusher prop designs suffer from and a smaller prop helps mitigate that.
@@asdaven1 I experiment with different props all the time.
There is definitely a Goldilocks zone in the size an pitch of the prop given the kv and torque of the motor.
