    Thank you for cleaning this up for the community. Too many homeless, too many tent cities across our country. Why isn't the county or state responsible for these abandoned properties. Someone lived there. Someone paid property taxes. Why doesn't the fire department just come in and burn it down as practice for new firefighters? I think it's time to bring back Mental Health facilities, asylums, as they use to be called, that house the homeless , get them off drugs and get them back into society? Anyway, thank you for what you do, and I'm so glad that man didn't try to hurt either one of you! God Bless.

      Somebody owns the property and should be fined for the lack of maintenance, if they’re not paying taxes and maintaining the property, , water, lights garbage and lawn the city needs to confiscate the prorate before it become totally uninhabitable. The should be required by law to rent or sell the property to assure it stays habitable.

As a retired Los Angeles Social Worker...I commend the both of you for transforming the exterior of this abandoned home. I worked with the homeless, and their living conditions are deplorable! There was a beautiful home in our neighborhood, that was neglected by the former homeowner. The homeless set up an encampment. Neighbors not have anyone like the two of you to transform the exterior. It was an eyesore, until someone purchased, and totally renovated the home. You will continue to be blessed. God knows, we need more people in this world, like the two of you. Please stay safe. • @joycevaughn2284

      The reason the inside looks like that is because people go into abandoned houses and steal the copper wiring.. You are right they did a great job and you would never guess that the inside looks like that , Kinda makes ya wonder how many houses are like that.

    • @Caterina...3
      @Caterina...3 Рік тому

      Aside from people robbing copper, nothings done with the roof, broken windows or most likely, a rotting foudation. When water gets in, it literally destroys everything!
      Then that TX heat would cause mold. Better to not be in houses like that for too long. Exposure to mold leaves spores on your lungs!
