- The old MG comes towards the end of the line (well the end of Route Sixty Six Westward)
as Jim and Johnny drive towards Santa Monica California.
Those are fun to drive. I had a '62 Midget back in 1985. I was in my twenties then and paid $300 for it. One problem only, it had no brakes. Now I have restored a 1968 Minimatic. Took me 7 years a little bit at a time. The BMC A-Series engine is great!
Sounds Excellent NetWit20,
The good old Mk1 MG midget, funny as I too bought one in 81, a non runner, took a lot of work but had it on the road August 1982, ran it as my everyday for years. Never was able to part with the toy and thus still drive it.
Like you I love the old BMC A series engines, I'm a big fan of them.
Enjoy your Mini and many thanks for your comments.
All the best Johnny 👍
man I really like your road trips. Amd i really like your music. So. suggetions. Play the orig nal route 66 theme song with your compliation. also there is John coltrane music where he has music that is great traveling and you can edit it in to your british drivings. Talk soon. stay cool like yall already are.
@@paulchristopherriley7503 Thanks Paul, I'm a bit limited on what music I can add as most is copyright and thus as I make at my own expense and don't get paid anything as I only have 400 subscribers (and many thanks to those good folk), I'd be well out of pocket.
If you know any good copyright free tracks in the UA-cam library, let me know and I'll use. I have another video coming out tomorrow as I am just finishing off now. If I pull my finger out I might get a second related one out on Saturday or Sunday. Rancho Cucamonga our next stop.
My Dad would have loved your choice by the way, he was a Sax player, I have his old 1947 Conn Mk10 Naked Lady .
Many thanks for your comments
Kind regards Johnny 👍
@@johnnywarnerperfectroad66 i thought music over fifty years old was free. Sorry buddy. I'll play those tunes while watching yall anyway. Cheers.
