For some reason most crochet/ knitting tutorials on UA-cam are like 9+ years old so it’s nice that somebody is still doing what they do while posting tutorials also. Thank you and I will be subscribing. Can’t wait to see your channel grow more and more!❤️
I loved your tutorial! Thank you so much. I am new to knitting by machine. I was tearing my hair out because the instructions don’t tell you to use spare yarn first then project yarn! I had great success thank you making the infinity scarf. I love that you are using Australian terms & the yarn I can easily buy from Aussie stockists. Well done! Big fan here!
This video, methods, tutorial is golden. This is hands down the best video I have ever watched, thank you so much for sharing. Please keep making more, god bless you 😊
My absolute pleasure! That’s what’s great about the knitting machine. You don’t have to know how to knit or crochet to be able to use it 😊🌻 Thankyou for watching! 💖
@@Katieree I'm sorry I also meant to ask how many inches/centimetres is 195 rows? Thank you again for sharing your knowledge 😀♥️( My machine doesn't have a row counter)
good video! i learned a tip from another video-if you lick your finger and rub it under the suction cups on the feet of your machine and push down, it should keep it from moving around as much
Ive just found your channel and am binge watching now... Im in Adelaide so its nice to see you shop locally... I love the look of these machines just wish I could afford one but its so satisfying watching you using it... lol
KATIE you said at the end when you finished stitching off that you turned it inside out but didn't show how after you joined the ends together. loving the tutorials i'm having a blast creating new things. Also have you done any videos on maintaining your sentro knitting machine. ive notice a few times that mine seems to feel like its catching and sticking every couple of turns.
Knitting a scarf in an hour? I think I need one of those machines... It usually takes me weeks or months to get a scarf done, depending on the pattern! Granted, my current project is a woven cable stitch, which a machine couldn't do, but still... For all the simpler projects it sounds brilliant!
Hi there, thank you for your knitting tutorials, they are really well described. I have a question. I love the easy and how quick the machine does the work for us but i personally prefer if the stiches are tight together. In this and the hat tutorial i noticed that the stiches are alittle too loose more my preference. Can you change that with the machine.. Like is it capable of making the stitches tighter? Or is it all about the with of the yarn?
Hey there! Thanks so much for watching 🥰 You can absolutely change the tension on the machine but it does also depend on the yarn you use. This scarf was made using a (very thin) 8 ply. I actually prefer the look of the 10 ply which does give you a tighter looking stitch and nicer finish in my opinion 😊
Hi! I know this was three years ago, but I have a question that I hope you can answer. My mom bought me really thick yarn, wool yarn, for the same machine that you're using. Will it work if I have it on the loosest tension? (The third hole, farthest from the machine)
The join would look so much better using a mattress stitch. That way you are joining the stiches rather than stitching them. If that makes sense. What I am trying to say is that a mattress stitch would look more natural I guess.
Thanks for the video. I haven’t gad my Sentro long and my daughter wants an infinity scarf. I’ve never used waste yarn. Mu could not tell do you attach waste yarn to scarf yarn? At the end should waste yarn be tied to scarf yarn? It doesn’t come apart? Thanks
Hi Maryann, You will remove the waste yarn at the end once you have secured all the stitches. You can either pull it undone or cut it off. Whatever works for you 😊
I have a machine like yours but a different brand. Thank you for teaching me about waste yarn. Binding off has always been my least favorite part of machine knitting. Wanda B, USA
Love you need to twist the scarf to make an (Infinity Scarf) . This is a double neck or cow. No worries... You make great content. Sean Dalton Osborne PS: Video was just mislabeled. Keep on keep on. blessings.
Hi everyone, can you please advise, I used DK yarn. Cranked out 200 rows only used 100g, yet the scarf messages around half of whats on the video. Any ideas please?
Hey Tracy! Different yarn and tension can affect the size of the finished product however once you take it off your machine and stretch it out it will almost double in size 🙂 hope this helps! 🌻

When you add a second skein, you just continue to the first pin after the last used one so none are skipped and then tie them off inside the tube?
I have the sentro and I agree about the dk weight yarn. Caron simply soft works great in it as well. Other 4 ply yarn , not so much.

How did your tube scarf turn into a flat panel scarf?
Hi great video. How much yarn did you use?

Great video, my machine is reaching anytime soon. For what needle size is this yarn?
I used an 8 ply (DK) yarn for this scarf 🙂
How do you join yarn when you run out of wool please 🙏
So you cannot make a flat panel scarf?
Does it matter if you have dropped stitches on your waste yarn? I'm assuming yes for the cast on end, but maybe not so much for the cast off end?
Not so much for the cast off but yes the cast on end you don’t want any dropped stitches
I didn't use waste yarn with my scarf. Do I need to thread it off in this case?

My pleasure Wanda! 🥰
Can a rib pattern be done on this machine. That would be knit1 purl1 or k2 p2
As far as I'm aware this machine can only knit the stockinette stitch 💛
How many rows you did please ?
What setting did you have it on T or P
Those letters are for you to choose what kind would you knit round or just flat like a blanket..
T for tubular! 😊
what yarn should I use?

Cutting my waste did cut my scarf, so that wasn't that helpful and I did it carefully.
Generally, a knitting machine comes with a crochet hook. It's silly to not use one "in case someone doesn't have one."
