Congrats! I passed my last section this summer. Looking back, I started watching your CPA videos before my first exam (FAR) in 2022 and they helped a lot in term of supplementing exam information and easing anxiety. Thank you Rachel. Truly, this is a positive community for many potential CPAs
My favorite point of yours was the third one! I haven't really heard any UA-camr express that as an emphasized, standalone opinion after becoming a CPA. But I like this point because it helps you practice gratitude in that things could be worse; you could still be studying for that rigorous exam lol. Another thing I hear from people after they get their CPA is people seem to just perceive you as more competent and smart after you get licensed. There's definitely bad CPAs out there, but nobody questions them as much because of those three letters, C P A. I'm still unsure if I want to pursue the exam one day but watching your videos does encourage me a little more every time to just do it one day.
Thank you! You definitely learn soft skills from the CPA Exams. Yes, I’ve had people think I’m smart when I tell them I’m a CPA, but you don’t have to be smart to pass. I remember watching a UA-cam video where they mentioned that everyone will pass eventually if they keep taking it. There’s nothing wrong with not having a CPA, but you should get it if you want to reach your career to reach it’s full potential!
Hi Rachel, congrats on being a CPA! Do you mind making a step-by-step video of how to apply for the CPA exam (application on nasba website, sending in transcripts, paying for the application and fees, NTS, prometric testing sites) as well as the overall timeline of when your application gets approved? I'm currently in the process of figuring all this out and would like to schedule things accordingly. Thanks!
Its okay Rachel, thanks for reply, but FAR is very lengthy subject to deal with, do i need to study entire book or else only important topics are enough, if important topics are enough, please do share those topics, i am struggling a lot to study FAR. hopes you understand.
@@praveenkumar-or1rb Just study the important topics. The video lectures in your review course will tell you what’s highly tested and what isn’t. Focus on the highly tested information.

@@breezysmiles Yes! I've always heard it's a test of grit and determination more than it is cognitive ability/intelligence.

Of course! I’ll add it to my list of video ideas! 😊
