Suga revealed in “Ep.6 SUGA with” that he wrote this song first in high school and finished it while in hospital; it says a lot about holding on to dreams, continuing to believe in yourself while being kind to yourself also. It’s a tribute to all the BTS members that they sing it so well while dancing at the same time; that in itself is a reflection of how they made their dreams come true.

This song is legit so so beautiful. The lyrics are so inspiring and to think that they were written when BTS were going through a difficult time! Look where they are now! That is even more inspiring. Also the fact that the dance is absolutely beautiful, it's like they are trained ballet contemporary dancers, and BTS themselves are so ethereal I promise I'm not in tears right now. These seven boys mean so so much to me, this song just proves why.

For the longest time this was one of if not then my favourite BTS song because I would listen to it to get through each day at school. But now Agust so far away resonates with me more simply because this song talks about being in the dark and fighting for a dream but so far away talks about fighting in the dark without a dream/goal which in honestly so much harder and scarier.

I come back to this song a lot and listen to it in trio with 00:00(Zero O’clock) and with Melanie Martinez’s song Recess. When BTS talks about how this isn’t a stop, it’s not the end, you’re simply just taking a short break It lines up perfectly with Recess. Melanie reminds listeners that you’re allowed to say recess, I’m tired. We’re all running through life so fast and it’s hard to feel like you’re running as hard as you possibly can, but it’s just you running in place. They all have such control over their raps and vocals and the rappers change the tone they rap in all the time not on top of switching their flows which is so impressive and I don’t think ppl even realize that most of the time ! Hearing jungkooks deeper tone not struggle at all as they crouch low and bend over bc the way he has to sound is constricting his entire chest and there is absolutely no auditory change... these guys every single one of them are just on another level ..
