- Here's a few highlights from some good games we had yesterday. Big shoutout to @TrickerDCS and our buddy DrWinston for playing. The 9-kill sortie in the A-4E was a particular high point for me during the matches. Yeah yeah yeah, I know what you all are thinking - OMG Sport, you've turned your back on the DCS A-4! But truth be told, I've been having a lot of fun in War Thunder and literally unlocked the A-4E the other day. Since then, I've once again realized why its one of my favorite jets, because it can do just about everything. I'm probably going to put out a video on how to really effectively use it, as well as a comparison between the DCS A-4E and the one in War Thunder. A bit of a necropost, but the Israeli tree has even more A-4s, including the '80s-era A-4N Skyhawk II (Ayit). One thing I do hope they add (eventually) to the American tree is the Marine Corps A-4M as an equivalent to the A-4N.
The Ayit gets TV Mavericks alongside the TV-guided bombs (GBU-8 and AGM-62s) you've already used in this A-4E, plus also Shafrir 2s (which are uncaged!) for self-defense.

Can't use Shrike though, so... Gonna give it to DCS. Was also made by the community rather than a developer, something that cant be done in WT. So DCS A4 wins in my book. I also just really dont like WT lol
Haha totally understandable! WT isn’t for everyone, but there are some redeeming qualities. I think the main difference is WT is a game, while DCS is a simulator. I feel like both could take elements from one another and improve
