    Love it! Watched every second! Honestly, the filming, the dialog, the content, this is top, top quality watching mate, this is why I love UA-cam, it doesn't get better than this - easily my favourite content creator👌🏼! From a cold, rainy England, I'm sending a deep, deep thank you for bringing me some much needed sunshine and spearing action.

      @@danyoungy Dude, could I get a few filming tips from you? What do you use to film the shots where you're fishing or doing hands on work, like filleting, etc? Is it a chest strap? I'd like to replicate that when the summer finally comes around! Also, what setting do you put your GoPro on to film those?

    • @danyoungy

      @@BR0SE1DON I use the go pro chest mount for the pov shots. Im using two cameras, a Go Pro 8 Black & Go Pro 10. I mostly film underwater with the 8 as I don’t have a housing for the 10 yet (even though they say it’s waterproof haha) I film in 4K 60fps. I’m no expert but I find it comes out quite good like this so sticking with it 😎 hope it helps man, I’m keen to watch what you do!

      @@danyoungy Thanks buddy, that's super helpful! Really appreciate it. I'll get a chest strap! For the POV shots, what setting do you film in? 'Wide'? I'm guessing you use that for all general filming?

    Really great video Dan! All boating, diving, cooking, filming - excellent. Let's get you soon to 10k. There are many to support your channel. The best I think is down to earth attitude, nothing close to glamping 😀. Greetings from Finland 👍👋

    Another tops weekend man. Good job getting in between the shitty weather and winds we’ve had 🙄 how do you go with seeing Bullies out there? Seem to be hearing so many anglers getting fish nailed around the main reefs and possibly deeper water?

    • @danyoungy
      @danyoungy  10 місяців тому

      Absolute mission finding weather windows, looks like this whole week is the same 😅 I don’t want to jinx myself but I haven’t had to many issues with them, although when I dive solo I either dive super shallow (when dirty) or relatively shallow (when clear) I’ve seen a few little bullies in shallow but never any issues, touch 🪵. Appreciate ya tuning in mate

    • @danyoungy
      @danyoungy  10 місяців тому +1

      Hahaha i obviously enjoy chasing more challenging fish but sometimes the humble bream is perfect for a meal. For me, It’s not all about getting trophy fish, if I can appreciate the simple things & enjoy the whole experience that’s what matters.. But I understand what you’re saying, anyone can go shoot a bream, they’re an awesome fish to start on.

    Mate, the wings and head are some of the best fish meat you can eat. I have no idea why you would throw that away. Look up some recipes mate. Throw the spine away if you don't want fish stock.

    • @danyoungy
      @danyoungy  10 місяців тому +2

      i often do eat the wings and frame. you'll see in my next video that I'm editing at the moment I do that. I do it all the time with bigger fish, sometimes when they're smaller 40cm or below I don't. i want to respect the fish as much as I can and I think ill put more time into improving so thank you mate for commenting this, appreciate it

      As well as the skin on a lot of fish, if you fry that up over coals or even a grill, as well as the cheeks and don’t laugh, but the eyes also when bbq’s are bloody delicious!

    • @Remington7600

      Pretty much all heads and frames I don't want can be thrown in a bag and used as a burly sack or for crab/lobster bait
