I’m on “Int” and it just flashes all the lights when I try to set it to say 30%. What am I doing wrong?

Omg I have been searching for information and videos for a while. Do I turn the HRV off in the summer I was searching. Thank you! There is a weird scent from my vents and I was going crazy as I was told to keep it on.

hey i need help with my venmar AVS fresh air system i cleaned the filters good and the yellow center peace that comes out
but still get an E32 error code after 1 day of it running fine on the controller it flases orange or ( before it was solid orange when i moved into my house )
the house was built 2 years ago
the AVS system inside was pretty spotless but the filters didnt have much of anything on them
i tried wiggling the exaust hose to maybe loosen something up
or get it from bending so much
but its a brand new system and the manual is temming me
exaust air flow but i have no clue witch of the 3 tubes is the exaust?
im crossing my fingers the exaust airflow they are talking about is the tube leading outside
i hope its not the tube leading to all my air vents
or thatll be a hell of a time and id rather just unplug the system and forget about the whole thing

Thanks Murray,, for the great video. Just wondering what the setting should look like on the HRV unit downstairs after the maintenance check of the filter. Mine says HUM and then it goes to a blank screen. It would be helpful if you could post a video shot of what the system should look like in normal working mode. Thanks.

Is there a specific placement of the wall switch? Is there a best and worst place to be mounted? I ask because mine right now is in the furnace room.

The main control switch is usually located beside the thermostat. With Additional switches are located in each bathroom and sometimes the kitchen.

How often do you replace the core/filters? Also, where would you purchase them? Thanks.

The filters can be cleaned and reinstalled for 15 years or more. New filters can be purchased from the original installer of the HRV.

Yes, the filters should be dry before reinstalling them.
