Nothing like a good old 7 OT game 😍
indeed
Fr. Btw if it's on the internet the Tennessee Tech v Texas AM Commerce game was a other wild ending 👍
@@mr.r7782 ok I’ll try to find it. What made it a wild ending?
This game was drunk. College football is wild and I love it
LSU vs Texas A&M part 2 lol
The greatest ending to the greatest game that nobody saw
2 weeks in and this season is already nuts. So many great games and more to come
its great channels like these that enable us access the amazing moments that occur in these lesser known games!
I like how announcer wasn’t even excited. He just wanted to leave
"It's over." He couldn't have sounded more relieved.
“Let’s just start doing two point conversions. It’ll be great,” they said. “It’ll shorten overtime,” they said.
It probably has… there were cases of 7-overtime games when they actually played the overtimes instead of just doing 2-point conversions.
I think they did it to help prevent injuries.
@@uranium54321 in most cases games don't go over 2 OTs so it hasn't done much. of course the biggest outlier being the Penn State vs Illinois game last year.
Ok lowkey, this has been a good first two weeks of football
High key
The announcer sounds like he was hoping to go home early & pissed AF that the OT kept going.
dude yeah, so lethargic
Commentator does not say much.
As a member of the band, that was torture. We can't sit unless there's an injury and so we hadn't had a time to sit down for hours. And to lose after all that 😭🤬🤬
Misery it sounds like
well, this isnt the end for the falcons. Just cuz they lost to an fcs team doesnt mean they cant come back swinging. Like when they got a huge upset last year over minnesota
If you knew what we've been through (fans and team) since about week 3 of 2016, you would not be saying this lol
'Twas a fluke, unfortunately.
@@kasuga_sam since 2016?! BG has been floundering much longer than that. One day, the sun will shine again on Doyt Perry Stadium. The school that gave Urban Meyer his first HC job... will hopefully find another diamond and hold onto it a bit longer next time.
it’s probably the end though
Copium
Go Colonels! My alma mater.
BGSU's defense absolutely loves standing around with their hands in the air blaming their teammates.
That EKU d-back is thanking the Heavens they won in the end.
Holy Cross over Buffalo. Nevada goes down to Incarnate Word. And Eastern Kaintucke defeathers the falcons of Bowling Green. 😅😅😅 Crazy week for sure
You also can’t forget about Weber State beating Utah State 35-7.
@@scooby-doofan1849 for real? 😅😅😅 that makes the Mountain West look like 💩 Best news so far this season
As a Wyoming fan, I take great pleasure in watching CSU. USU, and Nevada go down to shitty teams this week. Makes me feel better about my Pokes lol
Just another crazy week for the ball of foot.
@@RIPDixie1865 You're a Wyoming fan
You don't have room to call any team shitty lol
Eastern Kentucky should go to the Sun Belt
They would get blasted
@@saintbrownthetrojan So would just about any team in the MAC
@@dogg-paws Got me there.

@@timboslice150 Both are better than KWC😂
Btw this is the second time the falcons have lost to east Kentucky in recent years. FCS to FBS crossover rivalry??
I'm having an absolute heart attack just watching the highlights. I can't imagine how the people in the stadium actually felt. It's a shame no one will remember this game in a week or two.
as a bg fan who was in the stands i felt like shit 😃👍
I love how they didn't even have a "7 OT" graphic to show on the bottom of the screen, they had to improvise with text that said "7th OT" instead.
Bro why does the play by play guy sound like a video game announcer 😂
If this wasn't the most OT's ever than what was??
Illinois vs Penn State last season went to 9 OT's
Bro bowling greens defense in that overtime was ridiculous…
Joe Buck would've been more exciting than whatever these announcers were doing.
What Nebraska could have had
The OT rules in college need to be tweaked.
I respect the Colonels for beating Bowling Green. I like FCS beating FBS teams
so, the OT rules - there's no kickoffs. each team gets a set of plays from the same point on the field. each team getting equal chances. each td is only two points and i'm assuming field goals aren't allowed. the first team that scores when the other team doesn't wins the game? didn't the NFL do something like that for awhile?
terrible commentary, hopefully they stick to fcs games
Annnnnd the National Felons League can provide as exciting a game as this one about... NEVER.
Yeah unironically I’d rather watch a couple little in-state schools go at it any day than a boring ass No Fun League game any day.
These aren't in state schools. Bgsu is in northwest Ohio and most thinks it's in Kentucky, because of bowling Green KY.
@@jasongarbers3327 I didn’t say they were state schools.
0:40 I don't know too many of the rules and it's been a long time since I took the time to watch football, but wasn't there a rule you couldn't grab your own teammate and pull or push him across the goalline, and you needed to just block?
the play-by-play commentator's performance is exactly why he deserves to do these small school games like this rather than the big ones
Anyone gonna play defense? This grinds my gears watching this garbage.
I don't know, maybe trying showing the replays of some these plays. The _one_ replay you show is the easiest one to see what actually happened. lol
That many overtimes is stupid. If they can't settle a regular season game in three overtimes, the game should be a tie.
I'm very confused by the offensive pass interference call
I just want go home 😭
-Announcer
Not the only fcs over fbs upset with a crazy ending
Insanity
After a while, even the receivers scoring points were bored with the whole thing.
1:25 why didn’t they go for the PAT ftw?
In the 2nd overtime, if you score a TD, you must to go for 2. I don't remember when the rule went into effect, but that's what it is.
WTF was up with the scoreboard on the bottom of the screen. Touchdowns only count 2 points!!!
When it gets into the third overtime each team gets one chance 3 yards away from the endzone and is worth 2 points. Did not find that out until I was at this game.
2 point conversions
I miss when BG was on Gameday
Roll damn Kerns, bay-bee!!!
These commentators are funny af
What is pass defense, anyway lol
They gotta stop the “pushing/pulling” the pile . He stayed in one spot for like 5 secs and finally was pulled over the goal line. If offense can push forward, defense should be able to pull/push them back with no forward progress given
Instant Classic---MAC teams are getting smacked by FCS schools.
Why tf did they only count as 2 points im from Canada and have never seen that, I’m so confused🤣
After the 2nd Overtime, each team gets one possession from the three-yard line for two points. Play alternates until there is a winner.
This was the most insane game ever
that was a sad day up here in BG
What an atrociously horrible defensive showing from both teams
I get that games get long when they go to 6th and 7th OT but that just makes them that much more exciting. They happen so rarely that I don’t think there is a reason to shorten them. We will never again get games like the LSU v TAMU game that had fans on the edge of their seat the entire OT.
No defense lol
WOW !!
This had to been a fun game for Eastern Kentucky.
Scorigami?
And the season has got even crazier!
When you start the vid at the end of the 4th Qtr with 0:02 left.. you know its gonna be good!
Bowling Green’s offense isn’t even that bad
I’m getting A&M and LSU vibes
It's like LSU and Texas A&M all over again lol
I still don't get why they cannot simply call it a tie.
This is wild, but Alabama actually gave away a safety
I can't believe that in six years and two weeks of watching college football I've now seen four games reach 7 overtimes, there was buffalo vs western Michigan in 2017, lsu vs Texas a&m in 2018, Penn St vs Illinois in 2021 that went to 9, and then this. college football is wild
Arkansas Razorback have had 2 7ot games. One against Kentucky and one against Ole Miss.
Bgsu let's get better each week...
A great 'defense optional' battle.
The 2nd greatest game in EKU history
Greatest game nobody watched
Facts
I like the new ot rules.
wait im confused how was that 2 pts in 3ot did they change the rules ??
Yes
The MAC sucks this year. They are nothing but a glorified FCS conference.
What about the rockets
That was a receiving CLINIC, by WRs from both teams. I don’t know what game you watched. Other than that kid from WVU and maybe one or two others, I really can’t think of many receivers better in D1 this year. Maybe Smith-Njigba from OSU, worthy at Texas.
Edit: Prather is the kid from WVU. Watch him.
This BG OH or KY?
Ohio
I don’t see how watching two teams that can’t win a game struggle to eek out a win is exciting.
Huh? Both of these teams do pretty well most seasons.
Defense non existent.
Most interesting thing that’s ever happened in the MAC!
