Things I want from Project Cars 2: Cars that don't randomly explode for no reason. AI that doesn't dive bomb you off the track halfway through the race. I thought everything else was pretty good in Project Cars. Those 2 things though, they were basically game breaking for me in the original game.
Cannot wait! Hopefully it is a big step up from the last game, looking forward to rallycross too as there isn't too many sim games that include rally stages and also new weather effects such as snow.

A couple of corrections, the Ferrari is a 288 GTO the predecessor of the F40. The car you mention as the Group 5 Capri looks like a 935 Porsche but not the Moby Dick. That has a longer tail and right-hand drive. Maybe a 935/77? Fingers crossed, I hope they make this proper this time, and it won't be the half-finished bugfest like the first. I might hop aboard the hype train after all, but will keep my hands on the emerency brake.

But as I think you made yourself clear, that this isn't confirmed by SMS at all, I felt that I could watch this video without any bad feelings. Because I think you make it clear that this trailer is not to be taken too seriously.
The race spec Lamborghini Huracan seen in this clip is not a GT3-spec machine, it's an LP 620-2 Super Trofeo. The livery on the car isn't used by any of the teams competing in the Super Trofeo-series. So either, it's made by the game developer team, or it's made by some kind of livery editor featured in the game.
I had to buy a PS4 and Project Cars for my Fanatec CSR Wheel and pedals. I am glad I did. I did like Forza but it's handling physics and bumper car AI was a sour note. Project CARS and F1 2015 have been my go to games for racing this gen on PS4. I hope Project CARS 2 is a big step up! And if they fix the Dual Shock 4 controller tuning it will appeal to a larger market.
Looks like i will have to upgrade my GTX 1070 ,lol . It does look very pretty but look at 2:18 there is still the issue when the car is in the air the game thinks the wheels are touching the ground and forces the car down :( i hope they fix this .

This is from the head of the studio, Ian Bell.. and yes, the tire model is pretty awesome but I never knew it was this deep. I know already pCars 1 had a very advanced model (albeit a lot of bugs and problems.. but still, the general model is complex and not at all simplified as some would want to believe). Anyhow, just thought you may enjoy the read for further speculation. :)

Very good to hear cause I wasn't a fan of the tire model in pcars and this was one of the concerns I had with pcars 2. Tire model is just so important, it completely influences your driving experience and I'm very glad they have been working on it a lot. If all these features that recently surfaced are 100% true, then honestly I think we're looking at the best sim out there..
Hey no problem. Yeah, not sure how much is marketing stuff though.. or how much "can be felt". It remains to be seen. One thing is certain, it's already a lot better than pCars 1 ever was (this is partially due to the complete rewrite of the differential as well).

wow & after a month they will start updating like project cars & totally destroy the handling & physics of game !!!!! had a bunch of guys I raced with that had a racing group & were part of the beta etc when they gave some constructive criticism of the game they were banned from the site way to go slightly muppet studios !!! ill stick to assetto corsa, automobilista & raceroom thx
Simracers are car guys, car guys knows cars. It's not like those cars aren't really well know or something. The 288 looks nothing like an F40 and the Moby Dick looks nothing like a Capri.

They should also add oval tracks, NASCARS and INDY cars and Formula vehicles like Formula E, Formula Ford, Formula Mazda etc.

Increase sound in your video. Voice is way too low. On max on my speakers you become about normal talking voice. Too low. But good stuff!
