What ecu / kpro do I need? I have a k24a2 and 6spd trans both from the tsx with a rsx type s harness
This is sick I’m working on a k24a4/NRH3 trans from the Civic SIR. KPro v4 just arrived and waiting on 2 bolts for the rear RSX engine mount bracket to the trans. Just worried about exhaust and fans at this point 😅
How do the jack spania mounts compare to Hasports? I figure fit and finish won't be as good, but as long as they hold well and dampen vibration I'm ok saving 300 bucks.
I'm surprised you didn't use the jackspania upper mount idler pulley
Can you use an ecu and engine harness from a tsx? The swap im looking at includes literally everything off a tsx for 2k

I have a super clean 05 ex sedan and it’s starting the typical temperature issues so I wanna swap it, here’s the thing it’s a Auto and my daughter drives it regularly so I wanna KEEP it that way. What is the process difference vs what you’ve done with Manuel’s far as mounts and tuning

hey i know this is maybe to much to ask but could you make a video type of a list of everything you need to k swap an em2 i dont find it anywhere i want to start buying parts for it little by little to eventually make the swap i dont find any clear list for the swap or if i do i have to pay it would be very appreciated thank btw loved how its coming out!

I wonder what kinda low to mid range torque you could get with a k24a4 intake mannifold on an a2🤔 it will probly fall of 7000-7500rpms. Its one of those things you could do but doesnt mean you should😆🤣
The A4 manifold should improve low end tq but only way to really know is to try it i suppose lol
The RBB manifold that comes on the 24a2 stock is really good for daily driving. It does fall off at higher rpms, but honestly it doesn't need them, especially if you leave the vtc and oil pump stock. You can always have it ported for greater gains.
@@TexasHondaChannelyea i think you said this was someones car next time you do a k series it might be worth it if you plan to keep motor in the 7to7500rpm range🤔its worth a shot and might surprise you what rpm range its good for, I know it wont work for 9000+😆plus its a content video🤷 be cool to see you do a nitrous build somewhat on a d series. You can get an adjustable dry shot kit for 400. Gap stock piston rings maybe (its gonna blow anyway🤷) get some arp rod bolts 50ish and a nitrous progressive controller for 125ish and keep bumping it up until rods break with progressive dry intake shot let injectors give fuel you should theoretically get to 150shot😆🤣 then you swap out for the k series and go previous venture I described. Just nitrous and civic in the title gets people in😉

Where did u get the motor and transmission from?
Would you have a bolt direction kit for the mounts by chance? I have the same ones but I have no clue what bolts go with what mounts

From which car do I get the intermediate shaft
It may not be where the car was hit, I am using the same post mount in the K swap EF and its got the mount crooked like that, and theyvare Hashport mounts
Hmm weird my last em2 k swap didn’t do that but either way it’s in
Yeah I am currently fight that mount, has the rear mount off making it difficult, might get a real crv mount and see if it fixes that

So what car did the axle shafts and the intermediate shaft come from

It’s about .2” smaller on that one. It’s better to use ep3 rad. I bought one hybrid rad and the k series ep3 hose was loose. Ended up throwing away the rad.

Well about this time of year people should be ready to spring clean maybe pick up trash for people and take it to the dump? I may even consider doing that because I got paid today and already have no money left. Bills are outrageous. If it wasn’t for eddy saving up to do this swap I wouldn’t have even had content for yall.
does the k24 need a fuel return line?
Not unless you turbo it for a fuel pressure regulator but stock they’re return less systems
