Option is similar to any insurance contract. Compensation is given on happening of event which is beyond the control of insurance company and person taking insurance. In option the seller (operators collectively) control and manipulate the event to their advantage. In the process small buyers loose money. Small investors should be banned from taking naked position. The person who invented option pricing formula himself lost huge amount in option trading and became poor person. In short it is one of the money making tool for operator.
Brokers humlogo ka side rkhega....they will always want to have more crowds on their platform. So be patient and see what happens?

Jab option trading band hi karni thi to lot size kyo decreae kari, kyo new contracts launch kare? Kon sa nasha karte hai samaj me nai aata hai. Next election me me to BJP ko vote nai dene wala. Chahe jo ho jaye.

Government should remove STT from equity trading so that more retailer move towards equity trading instead of F &O
100% correct and equity trading in comparison to F & O far more safer and more better for small traders like me and many others.

Retailers are nowadays hunting SLs of Props shops which actually use politician's money and they are making huge loses (I worked for one of those). These big sellers haven't been able to find a way to stop this. Earlier option writing used to be profitable 14-15 out of 20 days of the month or more. Earlier also most of the traders lost money and so do 90% of startups. That doesn't mean you start levying huge taxes on startups or establish a net worth criteria for starting one. Moreover the 90% traders losing money could be a misrepresenting data as well.

Need of the hour is to educate the people about trading & investment rather than reducing the peoples participation. SEBI has reduced lot sizes with the intention to increase retail participation few days back & now wants to curb them again. It seems to be destructive measures for retailers. If SEBI wants to protect retail investors then best option is to provide authentic education may be certified courses for investors & SEBI can make it compulsory for participation in market. Suppose if SEBI has done all the said measures as discussed in this video then will it yield required results? Answer will be surely No. Then what is next? Best option available is to educate retailers through authentic certified courses, Increase financial literacy etc. I am hopeful that SEBI will take constructive measures to boost retail participation & motivation. Thanks
Any business endeavour has a high chance of ending up with failure. Its not specific to fno trading...the govt should discourage startups too because Startups also have a high chance of failure

First, Make expiry on a single day, as it was before !! Control the activities of exchange first if SEBI wants to do something for retail option buyers !! Trading will continue, like smoking by a smoker... lot size increase, decrease will not make a difference

Banned trader PR Sundar and so called investor Kedia had openly advocated to kick out small retail traders from FnO trading.
So now it seems only rich will be allowed to trade in FnO and small retail will be thrown out.
How will rich people take money from the poor if poor people will not be able to trade?
By charging PMS fees.
Aren't banned traders managing money?
Note that authorities are never concerned about big loans taken by wilful defaulters but they are 'concerned' for retail FnO trading.
But how will the big traders make money, if there are no small traders to make losses ?
Rich will compete with each other, by the money earned from retail traders as management fees and training courses.
