The one perfect solution, Govt should allow the trader to settle their profits with their last 5 years losses. If someone has very bad losses in his past, he should be given a chance to pay less taxes till 5 years as he can settle his profits with his last 5 years.

Misleading post. Options are the oldest form of hedging tool. Banning options would be regressive. Ofcourse taxes can be raised on such intraday speculation income but those who hold options for hedging will be barred from speculative income.

Some argue to increase lot size but so that it is out of reach of average person. But i think this sitution is like if a there is well and most people fell in it trying to jump over it to get some reward. As a solution increase the depth or width so that not any average person try to jump over it.
Insteed I will prefer to decrease lot size so that if any one falls in the well the hurt is manageble.
Govt should ask brokers for compulsory 6 months paper trading with fix amounts not unlimited amount (let’s say 5 lakh )of all new participants. And activate fno real trading if they’re profitable after 6 months

If government really worried about trader then government do mandatory that to broker must follow below giddiness - like
1. Noone can use full capital in one trade and it's mandatory
2. A trader can use maximum 30% to 35% capital in one trade. can't use more than that amount is mandatory.
3. If a trader lost 50% capital in one day he can't trade for same day is mandatory.
4. every broker must have kill switch to stop over trading. it's mandatory.

1.Why isn't SEBI/GOVT considering both equity and options together to calculate profit & loss.
2.Many are doing covered calls & hedgeing for trading both delivery and options/futures together.
3.Now that physical settlement is made mandatory for options in the money stocks on expiry, will also act as hedging for option loss with consolidated profit considering trading as a whole.

Few mistakes which u need to correct in your video:
1. Speculative losses can be set off with other speculative income and set off is allowed for 4yrs
2.U mentioned speculative income is taxed @30%which is wrong there is no specific section for speculative income taxation
Requesting you to plz highlight the points in your video to give viewers a frame of entire picture rather than a hindsight .
Income from F&O can only be offset in previous F&O loss and not in other business loss.
