I just rewatched your tutorial, as I'm getting ready to cast on a new pair of socks. I originally learned and learned to love the Turkish cast on from watching this video. Once again, I appreciate the clarity of the video and the instructions, the pacing of your making the stitches, and the encouragement you give we viewers. One thing you do that I wish all tutorials contained is showing what the KFB and YO increases look like on the needles. Doing that gives a first lesson in teaching how to read your knitting. I'm off to get my yarn and needles! (harping)Janet.

I absolutely love your teaching style. Taking the time to show what the stitches look like in different situations;( increasing, looseness in stitches) is so helpful. I learned knitting with my Mom, and oops, but there wasn't any instruction as to how each stitch should look . It makes it so much easier to pick up and put down, knowing where you ended. Thank you.

Possibly the clearest video on the Turkish (taught to me years ago as the toe flap start).
Pointing out the back loop knit to avoid eyelets is something rarely passed along as well.

I LOVE! this tutorial. I have watched all of the toe up/Turkish tutorials and this is by far the best. It is clearly described, easy to see, and most of all, stress free!!! When I watch this I relax, all the others just make me tense. I also love both of the increase methods you show, I have used much more complicated ones in the past, and look forward to doing something different and easier. I've ordered your Pebbles & Pathways sock pattern and it is the next thing to go onto my needles. Thank you so much for your professional and gentle instruction. : )
