    Even knowing all of this and seeing it first hand - I absolutely loved this video.
    Great work all around by Danny, the DD Media crew, the Lat 64 media crew, Lat 64 in general and anyone that was part of this. Seriously - great stuff everyone.

    Thanks for the inside look Danny! I'm a big fan of learning different manufacturing processes so this video is right up my alley. Those injection molding machines are so cool, I'd love to see a video/interview with an operator running one, as long as you don't reveal any trade secrets :D

    Awesome video, Danny! Any chance of a video where Danny explains and interacts with people for the entire process? I’m sure I’m not the only one who’d love to see this and hear what the people who design and manufacture have to say. 🤞

    the "parting line most people refer too is where air is split to go over or under the disc .. this line effects the flight more than the "flash" line.

  • @michaelwhitlock6301
    @michaelwhitlock6301 Рік тому +1

    I don’t think you answered how are flight characteristics are changed in Supreme? I know it’s a slightly modified mold in Supreme, but would you mind sharing how the flight compares?

    • @dynamicdiscs
      @dynamicdiscs  Рік тому +4

      For the Trespass, Escape, and Judge we wanted to recreate the molds as close to the originals as we could but with the better feel of Supreme plastic. For the Escape, I'd say they did that really well. If I didn't know it was a different mold, I would have assumed it was the same one! The exception is the Fugitive which we instead re-tooled to make much more overstable. It's supposed to fit in between the Verdict and the Justice in our lineup but I haven't had a chance to throw them yet.

    Chameleon plastic can also be described as 'irridescent', like the Ebony Jewelwing Damselfly that glimmers magically between purple and green

    • @Snaques
      @Snaques Рік тому +1

      Chameleon plastic can also be describe as "invisible', like a Chameleon that magically blends into the colors of nature and is impossible to see with a human eye.

    What does over stable mean?

    • @bravosection
      @bravosection Рік тому

      Let’s assume someone is throwing a disc right hand, back hand. An Overstable disc will resist turning to the right and instead will fade harder to the left as it slow. Neutral discs have a little turn to the right and little fade to the left. Understable discs tend to have a lot of turn to the right and very little fade left.

    Although I'm old ,old school, this guy, does extremely good quality videos, he explains things at a top level.
    I think ,would even be a good hire, for commentary out on course, moving with different groups.
    Seems well prepared for his jobs.
    I'd smoke him on the course, but he would tear me apart in broadcasting.
    He might get me now on a course! I'm old.
    Keep up the fine work.
    Some these guys are watering down themselves. With to much face time.
    I'd like to hear your top 10 players in next years worlds???
    I got a feeling, if paul slips, eagle can survive first 2 rounds.
    Be within 4 max, he will do it down stretch.
    Also got a feeling, James conrad has never left the building,
    Therefore, he will grind his way back to the promise land.
    Where did chris.d. go?
    Is double g, doing 1000 putts a day ,I heard?
    Will mattioli, finally make 23, the year of the tide?
    Can jones make that next step?
    We all know.
    The rickster be back.
    Gannon will be dangerous.
    Watch out for nikko pulling another big one down, hes still nikko.

    if the same molds in different plastics have different flight characteristics, why wouldn't the discs have different flight numbers? seems like if the numbers are supposed to mean something to the player, even if only relative to the numbers themselves, there should be more of an effort to make them accurate.
